Please be wary of this supplier.
Please fully document all details and ensure supplier agrees to everything in writing before you put down any deposit for your event, or you might regret it!

This supplier prefers to only negotiate verbally and does not want to put agreements in writing.

I am currently trying to get part of my deposit returned for poor performance. However, I am having to seek assistance through other agencies in order to accomplish this. And this is the case even though the supplier provided pictures showing me what our meals would look like and specifically listed on invoice 673 the services and entrees, side dishes, drinks, serving ware, dish ware, etc., he would provide. Pictures of meals and Invoice 673 is posted on the BBB and YELP.

On the good side, the supplier did allow me to change the date of my event (10 days prior) and adjust the number of person's to be served; but without discussion, he is now utilizing those changes to justify not delivering the products and services originally ordered and paid for in full. For example, in my case, the supplier delivered our food approximately 1 hour late and did not include lobster with our steak. The steak was a minute steak instead of the sirloin or rib-eye included in his picture. He also did not include lobster mac-n-cheese (I paid extra $100 for), parmesan truffle risotto, assorted dressings, cucumber water, or even napkins.

But, another big problem for me was that he did not even remember to include the retirement cake. How do you celebrate a retirement in America without the traditional retirement cake?

In my opinion, I paid $65 a person for what was supposed to be a superb meal. Instead, I received a meal that I would still be disappointed in if I had to be $20 a person.
P.S. As I loaded the last of what he provided into my vehicle he stated that he would cater my next event free. I can assure you. I have no interest in using this supplier again. My retirement was a once-in-a-lifetime event, and the catering service made it a very memorable event - memorably poor - for food that is! More...

Soul Hearted Catering worked very smoothly with me to arrange a memorial birthday party for my husband. We discussed the menu and Chef gave me some good ideas. The food and two great servers arrived arranging the food so people could help themselves (which we chose to do rather than them serving us). We ordered Italian and everyone commented on the veggie lasagna and the shrimp *******. Asparagus was excellent as well. Salad nice and fresh. He delivered with style professionalism and his food & hospitality was amazing.
