Normally I'm not one to write reviews. I prefer word of mouth. However, I feel the need to write about my experience with Reno Boudoir photographer, Sue Halliburton of Sierra Elegance photography. I've always wanted to do a Boudoir shoot but never felt confident enough to do so. However, I figured I better go get on that and face my fears sooner rather than later. I heard about Sue through a friend and decided to check her out. Gorgeous photos and nothing but praise from those who have worked with her and it is so deserved. Sue was nothing but supportive, listening to all my ideas and helping me through the process of deciding a theme and what to wear in each scene. On the day of, she made me feel like a Goddess setting me up with professional hair and makeup before arriving to get things set up to shoot. Sue threw on a Playlist of my favorite tunes so I felt at ease. She gave me easy to follow directions during shooting and helped me feel confident in the poses, especially because I feel I don't photograph well. I can not rave enough about how comfortable I felt working with Sue. I am a "very Plus size" person, I brought some of my own outfits but was ecstatic when she showed me her "dress up closet" that contained a variety of outfits for the Plus size person. So much fun to "play dress up". The Boudoir Photo's came out great, she knows how to help you pose for the best looks, really was fun and felt very relaxed. My professional head/full body shots were great, my sister who is in advertising had trouble choosing her favourite to update some of my site's, not a bad problem to have.
