My husband and I had the Brunswick Stew for the FIRST time ever last night for dinner ~ We are from the east coast so never heard of this before ? It was so DELICIOUS 😋 When I met my Steve in 1993 he told me that there were only 2 things he will not eat, liver and lima beans so I never cooked those things for him ~ I did not realize there were lima beans in it when I ordered !! He LoVED the meal, had 2 servings and eat every bite ! Shortstop BBQ provided services for our 45th year Class Reunion. Woody and his staff provided friendly and curious service while serving us at our event. The process of scheduling, planning the menu, time of serving, quality of the food, was outstanding. I had in mind a simple menu that I envisioned and Woody took it and presented options and price that were perfect. We went with just a simple meat/2, meat/3 with dessert type plan and Shortstop provided. The Pulled Pork was awesome, and our side choices were Mac/Cheese, Baked Beans, and Pit Taters with all having his own special style. Shortstop went above and beyond for me and made the chore of planning a meal, a piece of cake… which I recommend also!! At the end of the day, you got a good friend too! Woody was very accommodating and helpful! Every other catering option I've looked in to didn't have the option of sides I wanted for my gluten-free guests without drastically increasing the price. And with the possibility of my wedding date changing, Woody was also very flexible. I also love the payment options he offered me.
