My wife and I hired Erin and Gailo to handle our joint tax return this past year, and we had a fantastic experience. They were extremely responsive — most of our messages were answered the same day, even when sent later in the evening. The process was fully remote, and they use an app called TaxDome to keep everything organized and streamlined. Uploading documents through the app was generally easy, though there were a couple moments it felt a bit tedious (which is more of an app issue than anything on their end). Throughout the process, Erin and Gailo were attentive, professional, and incredibly clear in their communication. They broke down complex tax matters into terms that were easy for us to understand, and they took the time to walk us through our return and answer all our questions. We also felt that the cost of their services was very reasonable, especially considering the level of care and service we received. Before working with Erin, I did not regularly look at the money in and money out (crazy, I know!). What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own business because I wanted to be in control of my schedule and work. It also gives me perspective to help other new business owners with start up challenges and other requirements.

Yes, most of my clients are completely remote. We are able to meet virtually and use my secure client portal to share and upload documents.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
As a virtual business who does not meet in person, this has not been a concern. My local clients have met by zoom when there was a concern.
