We’ve worked with Samantha on a couple of projects. Several years ago, she found the perfect fabric to create a cushion for our dining banquette and more recently, did the design for our large loft living room. Her sense of color and patterns is exquisite and she knew the exact dimensions that the furniture should be to look great in the space. We recently had Ms. Blake oversee a redesign of our living and dining room. It was a great experience and we are very pleased with our new mid-century modern look.
We particularly appreciated her responsiveness to our wants and needs. This included incorporating existing items and artwork we loved into the design; sourcing places to custom-build furniture that would be comfortable for my very tall husband; capturing our eclectic taste.
She also coordinated craft workers well (painters, installers, etc), and throughout the project she helped guide us on choices that worked within our design budget, without compromising quality and style. Would definitely rehire her for future design work.
