Extremely helpful and very knowledgeable staff! I so appreciated that they took time to teach me about how to apply my makeup and took special care to find colors that complemented my skin color and undertone. Would highly recommend!

I had so much fun during my first visit. The whole staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Laura gave me my first makeover (I'm 50! ) and taught me how to apply the different products. Laura is amazing. Plain and simple! I got a makeup application with her and OMG did I learn so much. Guys, I went to beauty school and learned more in 1 hour with Laura than I did in school! !! She took her time, explained EVERYTHING she was putting on me and how to apply it correctly for my bone structure. She read my mind with the color scheme I was dying to try out on my eyes but was always too afraid to do something out of my normal browns and neutrals. First off, their return policy is clearly described on their website. They do not do returns or exchanges, especially on opened products. It's not the store's fault. They carry are small, organic lines and the returns to the actual company are impossible (it's not like buying at Nordstrom, where a return doesn't make a dent in their profits). They do offer samples, and as someone with very reactive, acne prone (and almost 9 months pregnant) skin, I love that. Secondly, this store is amazing. Their selection is incredible, they take TONS of time with you and they are super sweet and knowledgable. I live 2 hours away and came here just to celebrate my birthday. If I lived closer, I would probably be in Roots every day!! So, i'm sure my husband is glad we don't live closer. (Too bad I can still order online!! Joke's on him. Ha!) More...
