The Downtown Friday event needed a "shot in the arm" to liven it up. Riptide Music provided that shot last night, Aug 26, that had people literally dancing in the street to almost every song and lots of folks dancing on the sidelines. I have been to lots of DF events having a Veterans Council canopy, so I've seen and heard a ton of bands. This one was fantastic, and I heard many positive comments from people I know. What do you love most about your job?
We love connecting with people and making THEM feel like the stars of the event. There is nothing more rewarding that making people smile and laugh - and hearing how much fun they had after the event is over.
What inspired you to start your own business?
4 out of 6 of us are family and have been singing and playing music together our whole lives. Tom Talley (dad) is the drummer and lead male vocalist, Julianne Talley (mom) is the keyboard player and also lead vocalist, Bonnie (daughter) is the lead singer and horn player and her husband, Steve, also sings and plays horns. The family vocals creates tight harmonies - and is just plain fun! We are thankful to be able to do what we love with the ones we love, and it shows on stage. Our joy is contagious, and one of the things most people notice right away. Happy people making others happy through their love of music.
Why should our clients choose you?
We realize the event is not about us - it's about the guests. We care about the big picture - and we are committed to doing all we can to make each event the best event possible. This means we might have to flex, skip a break or even dress in costume. Most of the time, people are not coming to "a concert". They are there to be entertained and make memories. We have to connect with the guests and make them feel like the star they are.

No. We are a live band that plays for special events, parties and festivals. We only provide live music on location.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We are normally more than 6 feet away from guests if that is a concern.

We love to take photos of people dancing, singing and having fun - and sharing them on social media so your event keeps on making people smile (even after it's over!)
