Our experience with Dara was fantastic. She definitely knows her stuff and was like a wizard with our puppy. We were having great trouble potty training our puppy along with some normal puppy behavioral issues. Dara gave a few recommendations over the phone, before we even had a session with her, and there were vast improvements. She is very patient and adjusted her instructions to our personalities and that of our pup’s. She also spends the time to type out notes and a review of the session which we found very helpful. Dara was absolutely phenomenal! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a puppy or a dog trainer. Since I have always had cats and never had a dog before, I was clueless about how to train a new puppy. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, very professional and truly a "dog whisperer." I learned more with her in one session when she came over for a training session with me and my puppy than I did from watching numerous videos and reading books on dog training. I have been practicing the basic commands that she taught me and my 12-week old puppy is quickly learning to "sit, stay, leave it and come". Dara even gave me some good tips on potty training that have helped tremendously! I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a dog trainer, whether for a new puppy, an older dog that still needs to learn basic commands, or a dog that already knows the basic commands who would like to learn advanced commands. Dara was terrific! Very knowledgeable and helpful in teaching us how to best train our newly adopted 5 year old lab mix. What do you love most about your job?
Meeting and working with the people and their dogs to solve the behavior issues. Most of all, i want to keep dogs with their owners by successfully addressing problem behaviors.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The number one reason dogs are surrendered to shelters are behavior related, and I wanted to 1) keep more dogs out of shelters for this reason, and 2) help dogs find their forever home by fixing whatever behavior issues they have.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am staying home when not working, i wear a mask at all times when out or working with clients, and I sanitize before and during sessions.
