I am very sad to say in spite of our event planner telling this caterer multiple times about a significant food allergy as well as Me telling the caterer how serious it was, the "Special meal " made for me contained the Allergen in spite of it being marked for me. I trusted this and now am suffering a swollen face and mouth. Thankfully so far not worse Since celery causes me anaphylaxis. Buyer beware. More...

I love supporting small businesses, but this woman was pushy at the Farmers market, and I felt pressured to buy a quiche. This quiche was not cheap at $26 .50. The worst part is the crust tastes like a frozen crust and was raw. The quiche was lacking flavor, and overall just wasn't good at all. I ended up throwing it away a few bites. I'll start this out with saying, the food is delicious. However, the lady who owns the business has an extremely bad attitude. When I paid for my quiche at the farmers market, she swiped my card and signed my name for me. This is illegal. Did she tip herself? Furthermore, I can't eat onions. I asked her if the quiche Lorraine has onions, and she said, "I don't use any onions." Lo and behold, I go home and there's giant slivers of white onions in the quiche Lorraine. Again, this is illegal. You can't lie to your customers about ingredients in the food you make and sell. I will no longer be giving the Quiche and Carry my business, and I'm contemplating reporting you to the department of health services and the Farmers market. More...

5/5 SHINING STARS! This was one of the most wonderful experiences I've ever had ordering food delivery. I contacted Deborah a few weeks ago to see if she offered delivery for a single quiche, as it was my sister's birthday and I'm based in NYC. Once I told Deborah that and how much I missed her, she went ABOVE and BEYOND to make this birthday delivery extra special, noting "if it was for my sister or brother, I'd want someone to take good care of them too." Deborah and I chatted on the phone and she offered to go to the local farmers market and pick up a bouquet of flowers, chocolates, and a trinket to add into the gift, all while keeping it cost-effective and personal. She hand-delivered the quiche and supplemental gifts to my brother-in-law, taking the time to find access through their gated community and drop it off right to their front door. I just cannot thank her enough - never in my life have I experienced such a personal touch from a stranger. It's hard enough to not be able to see family during these times, but Deborah made me feel like she did her best to make my sister's day a little more special. Oh, and according to my sister, the quiche was INCREDIBLE - "this crust tastes like a stick of butter." Mediterranean Quiche: So incredibly delicious! Mushrooms, eggplant, olives, cheese of best quality - no meat needed - full of flavor! I wish we could give Deborah &amp; her Quiche &amp; Carry team a 100 stars !! It was just fantastic. We hosted a brunch for 70 guests for our daughter&#39; s baby shower. We went with the menu Deborah suggested which included their signature quiches, strawberry french toast casserole,eggs, turkey sausage,roasted potatoes, yogurt w/ their homemade granola, fresh fruit, &amp; fresh baked scones &amp; zucchini bread. Deborah cartered an impressive and delicious Thanksgiving dinner for 14 of my family and friends. She cooked traditional Thanksgiving dishes and added a mushroom soup to the menu.  I met Deborah in Emeryville to give my serving dishes and I was able to pick up everything on Thanksgiving Day on time at 12:30pm and bring it back to San Francisco where I live.   Guests said:  "That was one of the best Thanksgiving meals I've had in awhile."  And everyone raved about the mushroom soup...what a great touch!  Her pies are also worth every calorie - my favorite is the blueberry. Deborah catered my daughter's bridal shower a couple of weeks ago, and she did not disappoint! After searching for weeks, I found Deborah on Yelp. She was very attentive to all of my questions, and I had a lot. She was honest and told me I was ordering way to much food for the amount of guests we were having, and right than I knew she could be trusted, she had my as her clients best interest at heart. That goes along ways in my books.<br><br>The quiches were amazing, everyone raved about them, she even made a gluten free one for my guests who are gluten intolerant.All 4 different styles we ordered were perfect, personally speaking the bacon/potato was amazing as well as the broccoli/cheddar! Deborah catered our company's open house event.  She was very easy to work with.  I had so much fun discussing ideas of how we could make this a special event for our guests.   We also had a lot of dietary restrictions to consider.  Deborah was very accommodating to those needs. I found Deborah on Thumbtack, and she was awesome! She helped put together an awesome menu for my team's breakfast workshop, with only a week's notice. She arrived at the venue on time, helped set everything up, and even brought us flowers! The food was fantastic and had a good variety of options so our team members with dietary restrictions had plenty to choose from. We ordered 3 quiches (chicken sausage and potato, mushroom and spinach and broccoli and cheddar), zucchini bread, yogurt, granola, fruit, juice and coffee. Everything was fantastic! I found Quiche &amp; Carry for my sons 1st birthday party.  Deborah responded right away and 1st question was "what are you looking for in a menu".  I loved that because I was often hearing "this is what we do". <br>After letting her know what our menu goals were she walked through the delicious options she offers and we chose a menu.<br>That. Was. It!  <br>Next I heard from her she was confirming my phone number and bingo bango she's at the front door with loads of amazing food.<br>It was so easy. I told my husband a one point "nothing is ever this easy, I'm worried."  Nope.  It was indeed that smooth a process with Deborah. I had my mother's 80th Birthday catered by Quiche &amp; Carry which, was a big mistake. The owner, Deborah Moss assured me that she could handle my event, that it was easy and that she would be happy to do it. I read her reviews and they were all good so I hired her. <br><br>After having our initial phone conversation I sent her a detailed email summarizing what we talked about as well as provide her a detailed timeline of when guests were arriving, when my mom was arriving and what time we were going to eat. <br><br>To make a long story short she arrived at my home and told me I had her come too early she acted as if we never spoke or emailed. When I told her I sent her detailed emails with party information including a timeline of when things would be happening she responded "it is what it is" which upset me beyond words. She was so unprofessional and she knew how much this event meant to me. <br><br>The lamb she made had more fat and nerves on it than meat and the dry store bought pita bread which she initially forgot, was embarrassing! The pilaf she made was hard as a rock, also very embarrassing. <br><br>Deborah's website says she cooks with organic quality ingredients but that is not what I experienced, she scrimped on quality to make more money causing me to feel upset and embarrassed that I hired her for my event. <br><br>Working with her was a huge disappointment! And when I gave her a text with my feedback she never responded. WOW, these quiches are DELICIOUS! We sampled several varieties of mini quiches - the greens and sweet potato was my favorite, but the bacon and corn ones were also amazing. Deborah is a GEM. I'm a Public School Social Worker and was struggling to figure out how to throw an end of year event / retirement party for one of our amazing first grade teachers who has been teaching over 30 years and reached out to Deborah. She graciously offered to donate quiches for our entire party, as well as a large salad. She was so kind when we picked up - even giving my toddler son a brief tour of her kitchen and a quiche to nibble on! I'm part of a group of volunteers in Richmond who hold a weekly meet-up for our homeless and needy in central Richmond.  As soon as we put the word out on social media that we were looking for donations of food and supplies, Deborah stepped up to volunteer Quiche and Carry's services.  Through some terrible wet and cold weather this past couple of months, we've been able to bring the finest in catered food to at least fifty homeless and very low-income residents of Richmond on Saturdays because of Deborah.  <br><br>It has been really a delight to see how people respond to being served up hearty, nutritious food that is truly delicious too.  I'll never forget the father with his three children who ate their baked pasta lunch together on a nearby bench, his sons shyly returning to ask for seconds and whether they could take a plate home to their mother.  "This is really good" they kept saying in surprise.  My favorite lunch came on a sunny Saturday a few weeks ago when she gave us amazing asparagus quiche and salad to serve!  I just wished we had white linen and nice china to serve it on! We had some reluctant regulars who claimed to never have had eaten asparagus or quiche but came away complete converts.  People always want me to pass on their thanks to her, and sometimes I forget. So I thought I'd post this review to make sure everyone knows that she's got a ton of fans in central Richmond. <br><br>I haven't had an occasion to hire a caterer lately, but if I did I know who I would go to - the woman who brings her best to her neighbors who have the least.   Not leftovers, not just as an afterthought - there's real love in her food. Terrible and rude service, I was on a phonecall with Deborah and I gave her my budget, instead of declining to work with that budget because it’s too low for her, she said “oh forget it!” and hung up the phone! Yikes!

Deborah catered for a surprise birthday party I hosted for my mom!  Everyone absolutely loved the food, not one complaint!  For quality of food was amazing, the price was better than any other caterer I talked to for what I was wanting; chicken, steak,  Vegetarian lasagna, salad, and rice for 80 people.
