So I came here last week and forgot my card and sure enough I came back and found it still with the bartender not only did they have my card but verified that it was me with my ID. I proceeded to order the filet mignon kebab which was amazing and was accompanied by rice and I definitely will continue to come back and try all the other amazing items. Thanks for keeping my credit card and not throwing it away so that I don't have to change all my automatic payments I really appreciate it and met the owner Ali, who is very kind as well. I'll be sure to check out their other restaurants located on and between MacArthur in Von Karman. Stay tune for my review of them as well. More...

My family and I had dinner here the other night and it was delicious as well excellent service. I had the curry chicken and it was wonderful. My son had shrimp and he really enjoyed his dinner. My husband had the filet and my older son had a pasta dish, both said they were happy with their dinners as well. Came here today..Friday eve. Mike was our waiter, he was very courteous and serving. It wasn't busy this night and they had a guy playing guitar. My lady loved it. Very chill environment. I had the beef kabob..couldn't finish it. Very bomb. We had the stuffed grape leaves, also very good. My girl had the filet mignon shish kabob, good serving. Fair prices. Good drinks too. The Chicken Kabob is outstanding- best I have ever had. I also love their Kale and Quinoa salad. The portions are really good and the food is quality! If there were 6 stars I would give it to them! Everything was wonderful, can't decide which was best the food or the service! !!!! My sister and I had dinner last night, they bring out freshly baked hot bread. For starters we had the spicy shrimp appetizer which was very good with the fresh avocado, succulent shrimp cooked to perfection. Everything sounded so good so we ordered 2 separate entrees and shared!!!! I had the 3 kabob combo, filet, chicken and kaboodieh, comes with blisters cherry tomatoes rice, and accompaniments . Meats were tender and juicy, and very flavorful, my sister had the seafood pasta, she chose angel hair and pink sauce! Let me say it was scrumptious, loaded with assorted seafood and the sauce was very well seasoned! We both had a glass of wine... and it was enough food for us both to have leftovers for today! One of my favorite bar/restaurants in greater Newps’! The food is excellent, the service efficient, and is professional and friendly. Not to mention, it’s one of just a few more bar/restaurants left in Newp/CDM that not only allows live music, but they (Ali; owner) actually supports local talent, with both open arms and most importantly, sincere enthusiasm. It’s a great joy to be a patron at The Port. Needless to say, however, it’s a mind-blowing, humbling experience to be joined on stage on Wednesday evenings, with such an incredibly talented musician, the one and only George Fryer, and his equally talented band accompanying him, acoustically, to form his band, The George Fryer Combo. Biased? Maybe. But I’ve yet to hear another local bar band (acoustically, mainly) with such an incredibly talented lineup, even when that very lineup changes at the last minute. George is as natural a leader as he is a true musician. Innate. No doubt. In the approximately eight years I have had the honor of knowing George and having the privilege of considering George Fryer a good friend...? I owe much of our friendship to the Port Restaurant and Bar. Collectively? I’m a better person today due to Wednesday’s at the Port Restaurant and Bar. Thanks.
