I hired party finesse for my daughter’s Sweet Sixteen this last Saturday and they were excellent!! They were on time, very professional and very friendly. They even went out of their way to make sure our guests signed the photo album they provided. Loved the huge number of unique props. I liked how they made sure every picture was zoomed in. Steve was very professional and really helpful in setting up a timeline for our wedding reception. We got lots of positive comments about the music he played (we gave him genres and he chose the actual songs). They were super cool to have at Alien Con in LA.  They setup in the main room for the convention after party and were super fast and efficient at taking your picture and printing your photos right away.  They even were able to send you the photo via email or dropbox.  The best part is that they have props and put you in front of a green screen.  They snapped 3 pictures and were patient while you switched props between each picture.The backgrounds they used matched the theme of the convention and I also checked out their website and saw that they have a ton of backgrounds for the green screen backed pictures! Steve was awesome!  We booked his photobooth for our wedding reception in March, and the process could not have been easier.  He answered every single one of my crazy detail questions directly and quickly.  His prices were very affordable and his customer service was superior!Brian was our photobooth attendant, and he was awesome too!  He was so sweet and gave our guests fun and positive experiences with the photobooth!  He let people retake photos if they didn't come out well and made sure everyone left happy.  The booth even lit up in different colors to match our venue!Thank you Steve!!!! I wanted to give thanks to Steve and his team for making my wedding amazing and fun. Steve is very friendly and assures you the music is catered to what you're looking for. The whole experience was an enjoyable one and all I did was tell Steve some preferences I had. We got many compliments about the music that was played! Steve and Moondance production hands down made my wedding a resounding success.
From the beginning, Steve was an absolute pleasure to work with. Courteous, professional, down-to-earth, and genuine, he was always responsive to our questions and requests for meetings. I had warned him during these meetings that my family doesn't dance, but he was able to read the room, find the music that got my guests out of their seats, and let us all have a great time at our wedding reception.
Steve was a such wonderful MC, displaying great professionalism. He knew the best way to reach out to the audience, to engage the crowd, and to keep the reception running smoothly. He composed a love story based off a series of questions that he had previously given us, which was a hit - it was both touching and funny! Additionally, he seamlessly led our modified newlywed game, which was so much fun!
We also had a photobooth at our event with custom props, which was a great add-on - our guests loved it!
I cannot thank Steve and enough for such a memorable night. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them for any event, and hope to be able to work with them again in the future!

For mom's 90th birthday we had Steve DJ the event. He was excellent. Prior to the event we had two meetings with him to discuss the type of music we wanted played. I've been using this company since 2016 for photo booths at my school's formal dances. I have been 110% satisfied each time. Steve was a pleasure to work with. Came to the venue on time and brought all the equipment needed to make this event go off without a hitch. We hit a speed bump, but he had a backup plan, so everything worked out great! He explained how to use everything and the interface was user friendly and very easy to use. He worked with me on cost which I appreciated very much. He actually picked up the equipment the same night the event ended, so there was no need to come out to the venue the next morning which saved me time and energy. Steve was so flexible and kind with my event. I rented a karaoke machine and full set up that came with the easy to use computer and karaoke software, speakers, TV monitor for lyrics, mics, and lightning! He set everything up and explained how to use the equipment with ease. He also was extremely flexible with the pick up time as my party goers were having so much fun with the equipment, we were able to keep it for a bit longer. Thank you Steve! Steve dj'd my wedding this last weekend. He was very professional and did a great job. He even went with our crazy requests for an 80's themed wedding and  I wanted karaoke at the reception. Steve and Moondance Production were awesome and a joy to use. Made my job as Prom advisor a hit. Photographers handle everything from setup, to props and all the pictures you can take. The final picture is even customized to meet your theme so your memories will never be forgotten. Very affordable as our school is very small so funding can be a challenge. I got to say! Steve is awesome and very patient. He comes prepared and the pic quality after the event is superb quality. Just had my birthday party this weekend and rented a karaoke system from Moondance. Steve delivered, set up and walked me through how to use the system. It wasn't just for karaoke, but was also a jukebox with tens of thousands of songs from every possible genre. Steve just did my daughter's bat mitzvah Saturday night.  He was the dj and brought his awesome associate to run the photo booth.  Steve took care of the timing for the whole evening, played any and all songs we requested, hosted karaoke and had every single song people wanted to sing, even new hits that just came out.  Karaoke is a blast once the first person starts... It's a great idea for any party. Two years ago he did my other daughter's bat mitzvah and was great then, and that's why I rehired him two years later. I didn't get the photo booth then, but Steve gave me a very good deal on it this time and it was worth every penny! Both the kids and the adults used it and the photos are hilarious. While I did not end up hiring Steve over at Moondance - I am compelled to write a review about what a decent, proactive,kind and helpful business owner Steve is. The reason I didn't hire Steve was that a friend of mine has a photobooth company and essentially offered me a an absurd discount on their services - as a bride on a budget, I couldn't pass it up. :) Had they not, I would have hired Steve and Moondance in a heart-beat. He really gets what its like to be a customer in the massive, and sometimes overwhelming world of event planning. He is proactive, and willing to work with you - and he clearly enjoys what he's doing. Oh, and the tagline for his company are Van Morrison lyrics - come on, how awesome is that! :) More...

It was such a pleasure to work with Steve. From the moment we met him we felt very comfortable in knowing that not only did he understand our music style, and was very professional. Steve was very easy to talk to could just sense that he was an all around nice guy.

Our wedding was so much fun, and I give credit to Steve for keeping the party going. He played the songs we requested and mixed in some great party songs. He felt out the crowd and got everyone out on the dance floor. He kept the energy up and helped make the night memorable.
Steve was a great MC and paid attention to all of the details. He made sure we did everything on time and would check in with us throughout the night to make sure we were having fun.

Thank you MoonDance Production for being so patience with us! We planned for two wedding receptions which occurred on two continents in one month. The amount of work involved was just overwhelming. MoonDance production provided excellent service and was very responsive and patient with us.

MoonDance Production provided us with photobooth, Uplights, and MC/DJ service on our wedding day in LA. They had so many great props for the photobooth that my guests all had a lot of fun! The Uplights were of course beautiful and the music was fantastic. The only thing I wish it could have been better was the MC part - a little more lively, more talk, and more dance and group activities/dance would have completed the night. I am writing this review to let everyone know how much we truly appreciate Steve’s DJ Moondance Production and helped make my sister’s wedding special and so much fun!

My sister’s wedding was held in my backyard on 6/30/12 here in WoodRanch, Simi Valley. My sister lives in Minnesota so she had to do everything electronically – emails, phone, internet, and after much searching she contacted several DJs here in SoCal and many returned her inquiries and some didn’t but Steve was the most prompt at returning emails; he was concise and a great communicator.

Wedding day: Steve arrived 3 hours before the wedding. He quietly set up his equipment, no fuss, very professional and willing to work around the “chaos” around him. He was very flexible and kept the crowd entertained with his music when the wedding party was late as expected.

Steve had all the music from the wedding march to the recessional. When the dancing started – that was when all of Steve’s talents and experience made a difference. He had everyone dancing from beginning to end; great mix of songs to please everyone. It was so good no one wanted to go home – it was non-stop fun.

Overall: Steve was friendly and professional – and reasonable fees – we were very happy. I would recommend Steve to anyone. I like him so much I am going to hire him for my daughter’s 16th birthday party!!! More...
