I have never used a mobile groomer for my dogs before . My senior puggle needs easy and accessible. My Vet recommended Planet Pooch . I could not be happier !! Animal Hospital of Elmont recommended Planet Pooch as we had to immediately board our pit bulls. This place is amazing. Friendly staff, clean faculty and they really took care of our pets. The daily pictures I received of them let me know they were in good hands. I highly recommend this wonderful place for your beloved pooch. At the last minute my work schedule changed and they were so accommodating, Andrea showed up earlier than she had to and did the most amazing job on my pomsky! !! We love Planet Pooch! Our Gracie used to get sick in the car AND at the place when she was getting groomed. She was terrified around other dogs barking all the time and so many people coming at her. We thought we needed to medicate her! Meanwhile, Megan comes and takes such good care of her and she comes back happy and looking BEAUTIFUL. My dogs have been getting groomed by Kat for several years. She goes above and beyond with each grooming and really knows the personalities and idiosyncrasies of my dogs. She is a confident and compassionate dog handler and does an amazing job keeping my dogs’ coats beautiful, nails trim and their haircuts are always xtra special. But Kat does much more than groom my dogs - she is a valuable resource and partner to help keep my dogs healthy. We see Kat once a month, so she knows if something is different about the dogs - such as a behavior change, improvement in energy level (especially for my senior dog), weight gain or loss, the clarity of their eyes, any skin issues, any ear issues, etc. We are very happy to work with Planet Pooch and Kat. Highly recommend. I was referred to Planet Pooch by a neighbor when I got my pup (mini Goldendoodle) in late 2020. I have used them religiously every 4-5 weeks since then, and they have never disappointed. Scheduling is easy, their communication is excellent, they routinely reconfirm appointments, they ping me when they are 10-15 minutes out, they are always on time. My fur baby, Goldendome (Goldy), loves his groomers, Steph and Kris. They offer grooming suggestions and listen to any ideas/requests I have. I recommend them without reservation. Woof!!! More...
