What a great (and affordable) place for some casual eats! I came with a party of five, including my 100 year old (!) mother in law and everyone had a great time and enjoyed their meal. The house made pastrami in my pastrami Reuben was both house made and delicious. And there's a small bar where you can grab a very decent drink and bring it to your table. I was just visiting. If I lived in the area I would be a regular! More...

I've dined here twice and both times I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff, particularly the owners. Both times I was greeted by them and asked how my experience was. The first time I got the pork tenderloin sandwich which I ate on for 3 days. It was flavorful and tender. The brussel sprouts had good texture but were a bit bland.During my 2nd visit I order the smashburger and fries. They were delicious. Neither needed any additional sauce or seasoning. They were filling, but not greasey. I plan to come back to try bakery items and the birria sandwich. More...

One of our favorite breakfast spots. We go there for breakfast more than any other time. We’ve been for dinner once, sat at the bar and had the best time. They farm their own beef and carry products from independent local businesses. It’s very a unique and environment comfy. So far we’ve been hooked on their steaks, corned beef hash, and burgers. They fry their breakfast potatoes and fries in beef tallow and they aren’t full of grease when served. My favorite thing is I love that I can get a burger at 8am if I don’t want a traditional breakfast.Be sure to check out the variety of other locally made jams, relishes, sauces, desserts, beverages and other items that are unique finds. You should certainly try them out. It’s worth it. More...

I had lunch here today after checking the reviews, which were overwhelmingly positive. Based on the ratings, I expected a good meal and wasn't concerned about the quality. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.I ordered the lunch special, which included chicken, carrots, green beans, and scalloped potatoes. The chicken was burned on the outside and still looked undercooked in parts on the inside. The carrots were very firm and seemed like they needed significantly more cooking time. They were also completely unseasoned. The green beans were acceptable but nothing memorable. The biggest disappointment was the scalloped potatoes. They tasted bland and lacked the texture and flavor I would expect from a restaurant. Honestly, frozen store-bought scalloped potatoes would have been better.Overall, I am genuinely surprised by the extremely high ratings. Based on this visit, the food quality fell far below what the reviews led me to expect. Perhaps I visited on an off day, but my experience did not match the reputation reflected in the reviews. All around awesome place to visit. We stopped in while we were on vacation and were delighted at the variety of foods and drinks they had there. My one son picked a steak out of the case and the cook had it fixed in no time. He said it was the best steak he’s ever had. The breaded pork tenderloin I ordered was HUGE and tasted great. If we are ever back in the St. Louis area, we will definitely stop back by. More...

Great hospitality with the food to match! We were first timers and were welcomed like family. They assisted us with our orders and explained everything so well to make sure we didn’t miss out on some of their best. We ordered the tenderloin sandwich (which is bigger than your head) and so good, along with the brisket and green beans. There was enough food to feed an army and all at a great price. We'll be back! We had a great first experience at Pierce Creek. I ordered the whiskey salmon with green beans and roasted Brussels sprouts, and it was an excellent meal. The salmon was beautifully grilled with a rich whiskey glaze that complemented the fish without overwhelming it, and the vegetables made the whole plate feel satisfying without being overly heavy.I also really like the concept here — part restaurant, part butcher shop, bakery and local market. It feels much more distinctive than a typical casual restaurant, and you can tell there’s an emphasis on the ingredients. We came here for dinner before a movie, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. More...

We had such a great experience at Pierce Creek! It has such a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, part restaurant and part meat and provisions shop, with all kinds of fresh things to browse and take home. My husband joked while we were there about “the butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker,” and said all they needed was a candlestick maker. Then we realized they actually had candles for sale. 😂 So apparently they have the whole operation covered! And the food was AMAZING. We ordered the large fries, which was a serious miscalculation on our part because they were massive. We easily could have shared a small and still had plenty. My husband’s pork dish was enormous too. It was so much food that he ended up getting about four meals out of it, and it was absolutely delicious. What really made the experience, though, was the atmosphere and the people. We had fun just listening to the conversations between some of the regulars and the staff, and everyone was incredibly friendly. The associates/managers chatted with us, made us feel welcome, and told us to come back.Great food, huge portions, a fun atmosphere, and genuinely welcoming people. I really can’t say enough good things about Pierce Creek. We will absolutely be back! More...

I'm from Chicago, this was my first time in STL. I had just gotten off work and was craving a steak. I don't like mainstream spots like longhorn and Texas roadhouse from bad experiences. So I found this spot. They did not disappoint. A perfect medium steak, very well seasoned, and they introduced me to local lagers. 10/10. They not only made me feel welcomed but they made sure I left full! I will definitely come back here next time I'm in town. More...

We stopped at 9 Mile Garden on a whim yesterday and tried the MOObile for the first time. It will not be the last time we seek this truck out! The staff was great! Informative, kind, and willing to give my 17 y/o some trouble for ordering it “garden style” but taking half the garnishes off. Service was quick. The food was excellent! I found myself taking the kids fries to get more because they were so delicious! The 17y/o asked if we could buy bottles of the sauces they were that good. 20/10 recommend! More...

What’s your signature dish?
Our double smashburger is our signature dish. We spent a couple of years developing the right-sized patty, the best type of cheese, and the bun. We developed a burger that is just the right amount of protein, with melted American cheese, and a locally baked potato bun from Companion Baking Company. All our beef is locally raised with no added hormones or unnecessary antibiotics. We are truly farm-to-table.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We ask a lot of questions to make sure we are offering the best menu for our clients' events. We discuss all of the details of the event and prepare a contract based on the needs of our clients. We don't just focus on the food, we can make a slideshow with photos that adds a special touch to the celebration, or if you simply want to say, Happy Birthday or Happy Graduation, etc . . . we can make that happen.
What do you love most about your job?
We love bringing our local pasture-raised beef to the St. Louis region.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We are a fourth-generation cattle company with a food truck. We want people to learn about locally raised food and get a taste of how delicious and healthy it is.
Why should our clients choose you?
Choosing us is a great way to support local and ensure your guests will have a delicious, cooked-to-order meal.
