It was so bright outside in the direct sunlight, and yet the photos are just stunning. Phil really has a talent! And I'm in love with the black and white photos he took! Phil was an absolute gem to work with! I'm based in Ohio and needed a photographer to take some headshots of an employee based in Washington. This was a major time-crunched project with a 6/1 deadline and I frantically searched for a photographer the week before Memorial Day Weekend. Phil's prices were reasonable and well within my company budget, he had great reviews and his work was beautiful. I reached out explaining what all was needed and when we needed the done. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Light. It's all about light (except for all of it that isn't!) There's posing, location and critically, a strong eye for composition. There's a hundred more aspects, of course but I guess those are the main ones. Oh, also, you have to be willing to go the extra mile and not settle for 'good enough'.
