We danced all night and so did the entire wedding, ages 2-92! One of my top priories for our wedding was a really great DJ and a really fun dance party. And working with Nova did not disappoint. We had Dave and Magic at our wedding and they were both a delight to work with and made so many little wonderful moments happen. They really listened to what we were looking for in our initial meeting and helped bring a wide variety of music interests together in a cohesive way. They also really read the room and kept the party going. I haven't danced as hard as I did at my wedding in many years. Multiple people found us afterwards to say what a blast the wedding was and how surprised they were by how much we all danced and how late people stayed. We really have Magic and Dave to thank for that. They are both amazing at their jobs, and to top it all off, were incredibly kind. They are professional, so fun and take the best care of you! Dave tailored the music to our specific tastes and preferences and knocked it out of the park, especially with us having a multicultural wedding. Dave DJ’d our New Years Eve Wedding on 12/31/2022. From the initial contact emailing him he was extremely easy to work with. He replies fast and is straightforward with his packages and pricing. I was never confused on what I was booking and he provided all the details. As the wedding neared closer he maintained contact with us, making sure all was well for payments, song requests, everything. It was great knowing he had done several weddings and events at the Empire Room before so I felt great knowing he knew the space. When the big day finally came he and his EmCee did an extraordinary job. Especially on a big holiday like New Year’s Eve - Dave delivered! From cocktail hour to dinner to the dance floor - it was all so wonderful. He played a great mix of music, made sure to announce the things I was wanting, and even let me drop the beat at midnight. The lights he had going everywhere were also amazing. Additionally, he even sent behind the scenes photos and videos of the dance floor. Talk about service! Dave was incredible to work with for our wedding. He provided sound and music for our ceremony, emceed the night, and was the DJ for our reception! On top of that, he also set up a photobooth and created a BOGO for our reception-we we’re so grateful for such an inclusive and easy to work with vendor! He listened to all of our requests for music and the vibe of the night was exactly what we envisioned. He was very prompt to respond to emails and proved time and time again that he is not only extremely talented, but cares about his client’s experience! Dave was the DJ for our May 7th, 2022 wedding on the Blatt rooftop in downtown Omaha! He. Was. Amazing. From the moment he arrived he was helpful and self sufficient while I couldn’t be there. We had some wind issues and power location issues that he took the lead on and didn’t worry about confirming—just utilized his wonderful expertise. Even better, he has recent experience at our venue which I’m sure made it all the better. He even texted me a question the cake delivery people had!! Now for the party. It was FLAWLESS. He listened to my very basic requests and hit it out of the park. Every song choice was better than the previous, he was very careful with requests. Once he got the party going it never stopped. Dave was the DJ at our wedding this past weekend. It was a complete blast! He played amazing music, stayed away from songs we asked not to play, and played all the requested songs! He was so engaging and kept the party going all night… he even ended up staying 30 extra minutes because the dancing was still so busy! I would recommend Dave to any of my close friends and family members! If I throw any parties in the future, he will for sure be the DJ!
