Favorite new brunch spot! The employees are all super sweet and the food was absolutely delicious. I have no complaints. It may seem like the bottomless mimosas are a little expensive for $18 but it's worth the price because they're good mimosas and you aren't having to track someone down to get your glass refilled. I just love this place. Great breakfast. Good portions. Delicious salsa. Dark roast coffee yum. Anything in a skillet is delicious; breakfast fajitas, Chilaquiles are amazing.  Do not miss having at least one pancake. Although, the alligator sausage is not my favorite, my boyfriend thought it was super flavorful. The only thing she thinks that's missing from this place is Lengua. But even that the owner said he'd work i'm getting it on the menu.  If you want a good solid meal, quaint atmosphere and good service, then Nealies is your place. I'm from the  Westside if LA where there is an over abundance of good and great places to eat. When I started visiting Santa Clarita on a regular basis my biggest complaint was there was nowhere but strip malls to eat until I discovered Nealies. I love writing these kind of reviews. The only thing keeping this from a five-star review is the slightly odd location and decor, and a little bit of under-seasoning of my otherwise perfect dish. My son's hash browns looked a bit on the oily side. He got full, so didn't eat them. Perhaps they were yummy! He enjoyed the homemade corned beef hash. I had chicken and waffles Benedict. And while it was missing hollandaise, making it not technically a Benedict, every other element was perfectly cooked. Waffles cooked through with crunchy outside. Same with the chicken. Moist inside and crispy outside. Poached eggs couldn't have been timed better. The only thing missing was salt. Throughout. Chicken can't have been pre-seasoned. Neither was egg water. Chicken batter neither. And not enough bacon element to add saltiness. The syrup was good, as were the waffles. But you need the salty offset. Perhaps the chef of the day doesn't believe in salt. But if you're ordering chicken and waffles with eggs, a little salt isn't going to bother you. I'll be back for sure. It's out of the way, but worth it! More...

Passing through, what a find... Be hungry, these are huge portions. Not your everyday breakfast spot, be adventurous. S'more frech toast, Graham crackers and Nutella, what more could you ask for. .. maybe the breakfast nacho, need to come back just to find something else to put the enchilada sauce on. Or maybe you just want a nice bowl of oatmeal, it was great, a ton of fresh and dried fruit, but no way could I finish it. Very good breakfast. Great hash browns with red onions. Yum! Â The Skillets are HUGE!! Â A couple of VEGAN options too Average service. Â Friendly staff but not observant enough. If the servers looked around as they go to and from tables, service could easily improve. The place is loud so if you want a quiet conversation, try the patio seating. I live across the street and I am a sucker for breakfast/brunch. I came on a weekday morning and it wasn't crowded at all. The service was amazing and the server we had was very attentive to our order. The menu had a variety of choice which included their "griddle my bread" (pancakes, french toast, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal etc), skillet, egg dishes, burgers/sandwiches, pizza, and salad selections to choose from. They also had a drink menu which included local, domestic, and imports on tap, teas, juice, coffee, soda, lattes. On Saturday/Sunday, they also have bottomless mimosas if you have the chance to come on the weekend.We shared the chicken & waffle benedict which came with crispy chicken, 2 poached eggs, arugula, spicy pecan bacon syrup served on a waffle. We also ordered their infamous chilaquiles which came with corn tortilla chips, house enchilada sauce, scramble egg, cheddar jack blend cheese, topped with pico de gallo, crema, cotija cheese and fried egg. Chorizo was $2 extra. Their chilaquiles is meant to be shared and was very filling.The price was not cheap but I was not disappointed with my experience here. I can't wait to come back and try more of their food selection. I would expect this place to be busy on the weekend so I'd definitely be mindful of that since they close at 2:30pm. More...

This place is amazing. Family owned and run by two of the nicest people on earth. Â Got the sweet potato hash and I didn't get disappointed. Â Huge portions - fresh tasty food. Â Healthy options and lots of choices for vegetarians. Â The other half got the country skillet and couldn't finish - it was that huge! Impressed with this place. Hands down, amazing customer service!! Israel, our waiter was genuinely pleasant and tended to everyone with kindness and charm. It's very evident the guy loves his job. The food: DELICIOUS! Ordered the chilaquiles with chorizo and was much better than any Mexican restaurant I've been to. Their French toast was pleasantly sweet and light. 2nd time here and still as good as the first time. I also brought some friends and they really enjoyed the food as well. Perry was our server and she recommended the Haydee mole and it was sooo damn good. I went with what I had the first time which was the chilaquiles with chorizo and it was still very filling and very good. My buddy got the mole and I have to come back to order that. Food is pretty good. I actually really want to keep going back and trying other dishes. Â Honestly the chairs keep me away! What human other than a tiny child can fit in those horrid chairs? I'm not a large person and i just don't get it. Â I want to relax and have a good meal and maybe some conversation but I cannot wait to leave. This was our first dining experience and they did NOT disappoint. The portions were a hearty, and everything tasted delicious. Nealie's skillet was pretty average food but the customer service was insane. Everyone that walked in the door was given a hug and seemed to be filled with regulars. I got the Chilaquiles which was pretty darn good and quite large, with a bloody mary (also very tasty!) while my fiancé got the regular French toast which tasted pretty average.We'd come back to try other items on the menu. I love finding these mom and pop restaurants that are off the beaten path. As the fam and I were heading to Sacramento to begin our vacation, we hit Santa Clarita and were starving. So the Mrs. checked Yelp and found Nealie's Skillet. It was early in the morning when we arrived so there was no one in the restaurant. Neal sat us at a nice table by the window. I'm looking over the menu, you can tell a lot of feelings go into the food at Nealie's Skillet. My daughter ordered the man n' cheese. It is made with Alfredo sauce and was really good. My wife ordered the Spring Benedict and loved it. The eggs were perfectly poached. I ordered the County Fried Steak and Eggs with the eggs over medium. I have to say that this was THE BEST country fried steak I have ever had. It was lightly seasoned and perfectly seasoned. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the hash browns were perfectly seasoned. I notice many restaurants think of hash browns as an afterthought, but in reality, they are part of any breakfast dish you add them to. Nealie's Skillet is definitely worth trying.
