We were incredibly fortunate to find My Pack Dog Training. We signed up our two frenchies for several weeks of board and train and when we picked them up we had an extensive review of all the things they had learned. They seemed very responsive to the calm and confident style Jenny & Arkin provided. The focus we requested was confidence building, sleep and potty training. As well as easier walks and engaging in building the leader relationship with them. We are so happy to say weeks later that because of their training and useful information we are enjoying our pups more and they have been able to build a better relationship with each other, independence and with the family. Dash has been skittish and aggressive around other dogs for years because he was attacked as a puppy at a dog park. I couldn’t be happier with Jenny and Arkin and their amazing MyPack! I live in Washington State and am in the process of moving back home to Utah. When I found out they had an opening, I jumped on it right away. The main reason I chose them was because they offered to care for my beloved Alaskan Malamute, Noel, right in their home—not in a kennel. They even asked if it was okay for her to sleep on the bed with one of their kids, and I was like, "Absolutely!" Maybe that’s not the experience for everyone, but knowing Noel wasn’t confined to a crate all night meant the world to me. She’s crate trained and fully potty trained, but I loved that she had freedom and was treated like family. They gave her daily walks, lots of love, and even brushed her coat. I received daily pictures and videos showing how relaxed and happy she was—it really gave me peace of mind. MyPack Dog Training was amazing! Before training, walks were a struggle- he constantly pulled and would be very reactive toward other people and dogs. Now, Yoda walks calmly by my side on a loose leash and hardly pulls at all. He was also starting to nip at people aggressively when they would come to our house. Now, he's doing great. He still gets excited, but he's much better at letting me calmly and slowly introduce him to new people. We recently took Yoda on a family vacation and we're apprehensive about how he would handle new people and environments. All of the extended family commented on how well-behaved he was- he truly was the best-behaved dog there. Before finding MyPack, I had met with other trainers but never felt they were the right fit. Some didn't acknowledge or interact with Yoda, while others just pushed expensive e-collars. With Jenny, it was completely different- she interacted with Yoda right away and worked with him directly to see what he needed. I felt relaxed and at ease, knowing he would be cared for and loved, while he was there for a week. Not only has Yoda improved, but I have grown as well. MyPack taught me to be more calm (still working on this), kind, and confident in my approach to training. Being more mindful has made a big difference for both of us. Since we are first time pet owners, she gave us plenty of advices and showed us how to be a pack leader. She basically trained us too. 3 of us learned so much. We’ve loved working with Jenny and the My Pack team! Our dog, Watson, was 11 months old and full of puppy energy when he first started training. After his initial two-week stay with Jenny, we saw great progress—but he quickly reverted to old habits at home. Would highly recommend using My Pack Dod Training and Boarding. We boarded our Goldendoodle with Jenny and Arkin for a night. Scheduling was easy and they are quick to respond if any questions came up. We got a few videos and updates on how our dog was doing. I love that our dog was in another home with people who love dogs and not stuck in a kennel for a weekend with no attention. He was walked , played with and had interaction with other dogs. We did the 2 week board and train with our new standard poodle puppy, Ollie :-) We are so impressed with the results! We boarded our 4 month old puppy with Jenny and it was a great experience! Very easy to schedule, and Arkin was great to accommodate us with a last minute schedule change. We took our bigger dog/golden, Doug to MyPack and they were a DREAM! And with them being trainers and doing boarding too, they were pretty affordable, plus they have a backyard, kids, and other dogs too so my dog was in heaven the whole time, he didn't want to leave!!
