We hired Mr Magico for my son's first communion. I had talked to a couple of magicians over the phone and he had such a great personality that it came through as soon as we spoke. John was all of the things that you want when you hire someone which is professional, calls you back, priced reasonably and was there early to set up so he started the show exactly on time. How long have you been interested in magic?
I have been performing magic for over 20 years. I received my first magic kit when I was 10 years old and at age 12 is when I performed my first paid gig at a birthday party. I met David Copperfield at a magic shop in NYC (when I was 14) and he taught me how to do a cool magic trick too!
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
Each show features jaw dropping magic, plenty of audience participation, squeaky clean comedy, music, and much more. The magic show is uniquely
customized for whatever type of event and age groups we are performing for. Ages 2-92!
What do you love most about your job?
When someone comes up to me and asks me "How the hell did you do that?" Plus I love seeing the look of amazement and amusement on the faces of the children when I perform my magic. Always brings me back to when I was kid and felt the same way when I saw a magician.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Years ago when I would perform for friends at their parties there would always be someone that would come up to me and ask me if I can perform for their child's party or special event.
