I began seeing Andrew in late November 2023. As a retired therapist myself, I realized that even though I have significant skills and decades of sobriety, I was struggling with anxiety and stressful sadness following some surgery and personal betrayal issues.

I am a person who has physical symptoms triggered from fear and hurt.....mostly stomach aches and irrational thoughts which lead to sleeplessness and more anxiety. I also had reverted to some of my childhood black and white thinking about good and bad girl beliefs, a sense of doomed and being fundamentally flawed.

What I needed was someone to listen, to offer perspective and to help me become more mindful.

Andrew's approach helped me move out of the fear so I was able to do some truth-telling with the people who I was betrayed by, including religious leaders. His kindness and his offering realistic perspective really was exactly what I needed to get out of my irrational dilemmas.

I was taking anxiety medication in November when we began working together. I believe medication has it's place in mental health conditions. And I believe combined with therapy, some people may be able to reduce or even outgrow the need for some medications. Due to Andrew's help and my willingness to face the fears directly, I no longer need the anti-anxiety medication. Currently my anxiety disorder has been quieted.

I would not hesitate to see Andrew again if need be and I highly recommend him as a kind, knowledgeable and mindful life coach.

Andrew is an excellent life coach ......
I am a retired therapist and author and found myself stuck in some old, very unpleasant patterns that began reoccurring this last year. When I decided to get some help for myself, I checked out coaches/counselors and was very fortunate to find Andrew.

We met for an hour and he insightfully uncovered the source of my issue. He has gently and mindfully led me through some fear, anxiety and pain with no judgment, just clarity. I have been seeing him weekly for a month and plan to continue. I highly recommend him for his knowledge, his style and his approach.

Working with Andrew has been wonderful. He is extremely insightful and just by having a conversation with me is able to pick up on areas where I struggle without me directly saying it or sometimes even knowing it. For example I did not realize that I continue to be hard on myself. Also, I tend to have to be my own cheerleader. I have become so accustom to doing it and not received any acknowledgment from others it became my normal. He brought it to my attention and always makes it a point to tell me that I accomplished something or that I am doing a good job. It has made me feel so good to finally feel seen by someone. It has been so encouraging to have someone else be my cheerleader. I never knew how much I needed to hear those things. Also, I find it helpful to have someone to hold me accountable without being badgering or pushy. He is extremely patient and although we have only been meeting for a month I already see and feel a change in myself. His guidance has been extremely helpful. I found Andrew after a couple of family health events. I was lost. Andrew is a good listener with a clear mind. He listened to my story and pinpointed the inner conflicts I had. Before beginning my work with Andrew Yeh, I was in a rut not making much money, feeling lonely and dealing with a lot of distance from my family, especially my parents. Right away we started working on my parents and immediately I saw results with them. I felt more connected, tolerant and loving towards my Mom and Dad. After 9 months of coaching I decided to move back to the USA from Taiwan to be closer to my parents. After my parents we started tackling my work structure and within three months I doubled my work and felt like the work I wanted and needed was automatically flowing to me. From my coaching with Andrew I reached a three month financial goal for a major trip and felt the world was much more abundant with opportunities I wanted. I still feel this way. Now we are exploring new ways I might share my most natural gifts with the world and I really appreciate how Andrew emphasizes the concept of "ease and simplicity is best." Q&As

I have always believed that our outer world is a reflection of our inner world, and so if we can get a handle on our inner world, the outer world will take care of itself. After years of exploring different industries in my career, including 3 years in banking, and over 12 years in the record industry as a songwriter, producer and artist, I have found my true calling: coaching. I have always loved to help my friends and family work through their life problems, and now I get paid to do it! Running through my career changes has been a steady commitment to meditation, spiritual practice, and self development. Coaching has felt like the perfect combination of showcasing the best of who I am, doing something I love, and really being able to help people.

My coaching process uses a combination of the meditative wisdom of the east with the strategic interventions of western psychology to help my clients become their best selves. I have 10 years of meditation experience including studying mindfulness with 胡君梅, Founder of Chinese MBSR (華人正念減壓中心) and only CFM certified mindfulness instructor in Taiwan. I have also studied meditation and Buddhist practice since 2013 with Ācariya Chang Yuan, disciple of Master Sheng Yen of Dharma Drum Foundation, dharma heir of Master Guo Jun of Mahabodhi Monastery, and deputy abbot of Mahabodhi Monastery and Kuang-Siu Buddhist Temple. My coaching training was completed with the Robbins-Madanes Coaching Center. Most importantly, I believe in coaching I have found an occupation that combines all of the things I'm naturally best at: listening, empathy, connecting, and helping people see the truth about themselves and their world.

Yes, I am available to do sessions on Zoom. I can also use any other platform if that is the preference of the client.

Services

In couples coaching, the focus is on the relationship and how to build more closeness and better communication. This service is for those partners where both people are willing participants in the coaching. Whatever feels important for the relationship, whether it be rebuilding trust, improving intimacy and sex, or navigating family life more peacefully, I will serve as a bridge for the two of you to a more fulfilling life together.

Please note that couples coaching does not mean that all sessions would be done with the two of you together, although that does happen. Sometimes I will ask to see the two of you separately. However, regardless of how the sessions happen, they will be in service of the relationship.

If you are in a relationship, and would like to improve the quality of your relationship, but you are coming to the coaching alone, this is for you.

We will focus on helping you see more clearly the relationship dynamics that are currently happening in your life. We will help you to identify your needs, and how you are currently getting your needs met. And we will help you to understand what impact this has on yourself and your partner. From this clarity, you will be able to identify the part you play in keeping these dynamics going, and how a change on your part alone will be enough to change the entire dynamic of the relationship.

As in couples coaching, the focus of the sessions will be on your relationship and how to build more closeness and better communication. However, there will be a greater emphasis on your role in the relationship since you are the one coming to coaching.
Sometimes, after a period of coaching, your partner may want to participate. This is always welcome, and they are always invited. However, their participation is not necessary to the success of the coaching. You are all that is needed!
