Cassidy gave my daughter something far deeper than a senior photo session. As a parent of an autistic teen, I have watched my daughter struggle with confidence and feeling truly seen for who she is. Stepping in front of a camera can feel overwhelming for her, yet Cassidy created an atmosphere where she felt safe, understood, and honored from the very first moment. Her patience, warmth, and presence felt like mindful phototherapy. She helped my daughter relax, breathe, and show pieces of herself that often stay hidden. Cassidy’s partner Izadora brought that same calm, supportive energy and together they created a space where my daughter could shine without pressure. They celebrated her personality exactly as it is, and you can feel that in every single photo. The images are stunning, but what touched me most was watching my daughter light up and then seeing that light mirrored back to her in the final photos. For a child who has battled self doubt, being able to look at a picture and say she loves how she looks is a milestone I will never forget. These photos helped her see her beauty and strength through a kinder lens. They even included me in a few images, which became an unexpected gift. We do not have many recent photos together and having that moment captured with such tenderness means more than I can express. For any parent of a special needs child who worries about how their son or daughter will be treated or whether they will be truly understood, I want to say this. Cassidy and Izadora will see your child. They will honor who they are. They will create a space where your child feels safe, respected, and appreciated for their whole self. We have never done professional photos before (besides our wedding) and Mindful Family Photography made everything so easy for us inexperienced folks. We brought along our 8 month old and they were quick with our little one with a short attention span. The photos came out so good. They brought their own Christmas props to the location. We just showed up looking picture-ready, basically, and the rest was done for us! We were supposed to get the photos back in a week but they came back in 2 days! I have had 2 sessions with Mindful photography in 2023 and 2025. Cassidy and Izadora are a great team. My session is 15 mins but you don't feel rushed or that it wasnt enough time. I have a 3 year old son and they took candid shots of him getting confortable with their set up (Christmas theme) and they came out great as well as all the posed shots we took. They help direct your poses and make you feel comfortable. I dont know what camera they use but its phenomenal! Highly recommend for minis or special occasions. More...

Cassidy is honestly the best! My fiancé and I worked together with her for four different photoshoots throughout Arizona, including at the Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon and she was phenomenal in all of them. She truly knows how to work with a couple and adjust her style to fit their needs and vision. She’s also very kind and went out of her way to sit with us while one of our photo shoots got rained out (and then took some photos of us in the rain!). We were so incredibly happy with how the photos turned out and are hoping to use her for our wedding reception as well.

Stop what you’re doing and BOOK A SESSION ASAP!!! These ladies are absolutely amazing. They were so kind and flexible with my husbands busy schedule as well as some unexpected weather. They are so professional, encouraging, and they really bring the positive vibes if you know what I mean! Family Photo shoots can be very difficult and kinda stressful if the kids aren’t cooperating but I was pleasantly surprised at how well they interacted with my daughter, always making sure she was comfy and satisfied! My baby was content and happy during the entire session and we received so many beautiful photos I don’t think I’ll ever be able to narrow it down to just a few favorites. We received our pictures back within 24 hours to be selected for editing. Very fast which is great because the holiday season is around the corner! When planning my family’s summer vacation, I knew that I wanted to have family photos taken with the beautiful Colorado mountains as the backdrop. I posted on FB asking for recommendations & I’m so glad that someone recommended Cassidy & Mindful Family Photography. Working with Mindful Elopement Photographers was the best experience! My husband and I typically don't feel comfortable in front of the camera and Cassidy made us feel so at ease. She did such a great job at directing us in the right poses and made the whole experience really fun! It can be hard working with a new photographer, but we clicked with her right away and she made the whole process feel so effortless. She scoped out the places for us to take the photos and they were incredible, truly breathtaking views of the Colorado mountains. Having wedding photos done is a once in a lifetime experience and you want it to a good one, Cassidy did an amazing job at making it a great experience for us and we are beyond grateful we chose to work with her.
