What inspired you to start your own business?
Led by artistic director Sue Heale, seasoned music educator, composer, and theatre director, and operations director Olivia Heale, Sue's daughter, and an experienced teacher and musician in her own right, Melody Music Co-Op provides fun, educational lessons that are developmentally appropriate and cooperative between student and teacher. Our teaching methods are inspired by the Montessori method of exploratory learning, and our goal is to foster independent, well-rounded musicianship while, most importantly, making music fun.

Built by teachers, parents, and students FOR teachers, parents, and students, we offer high quality music and arts lessons to kids, teens, and adults.

Yes! We've found that by focusing our energy on lessons online and in client homes, instead of having a physical space, we can continue music education no matter the circumstances of travel or busy schedules. At this time, all of our lessons are in-home in the Eastside areas of Kirkland, Bothell, Redmond, and Sammamish. We are rapidly growing so if we're not in your neighborhood now, we should be soon!
