How long have you been interested in magic?
Like many kids, I went through a magic set phase. But did not start seriously studying it as a performing art until high school.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
For strolling magic, there is no set "show". Everything is rehearsed and scripted, of course, but I leave room for audience interaction. The particular routines I perform depend on the interest of the audience and how much time I spend with each group. For a formal close-up magic setting, I have several themed shows ranging in time from 15 minutes to one hour. Examples: Time Travel, Mad Scientist Inventions, Mind Games and Gambling.
What do you love most about your job?
I get the pleasure of meeting new people and brightening their day, if only for a few minutes. I also get tremendous satisfaction in helping clients create a more memorable, successful event.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Reached a point where I had enough good performance material. So I started performing restaurant magic. Peoples' reaction is what inspired me to expand to offering entertainment for corporate and private events. When presented well, adults realize that they do like magic!
