We found Math Help at Home for my daughter in Fall 2021 when she was a new sophomore in advanced mathematics. What do you love most about your job?
I love helping students develop a growth mindset about math. They often start by telling us "I'm not a math person," but our learning plans empower them to be confident they can learn math like any other skill (sports, music, coding, etc.).
What inspired you to start your own business?
Throughout my formal education and teaching years, I saw how much students can benefit from a one-on-one tutor who knows how to encourage true learning. I saw how many educators and tutors only focus on short-term fixes, and knew my enabling style could make a big difference.

For our reasonable prices, your student will not only accomplish their short-term math objectives (homework, test prep, etc.) but also develop the skills and mindset to accomplish a deep understanding of difficult topics throughout their life.

Yes, we are remote only. We serve students across the US. Our tutors have the tools and flexible schedules to enable a seamless virtual tutoring experience.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Covid-19 is not an issue as we are fully remote. All sessions are done virtually, so your student will never be at risk.
