What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
First things first, you don't play the music you love, you play the music your guests love. And yes you can incorporate your style but its ultimately your guests that should be enjoying the music and dancing to it. As a professional DJ you have to read your crowd and always make sure they are dancing and having a great time. And that's the ultimate Goal.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
With 33 years of DJ experience I have picked up many unique styles. I consider myself very professional but at the same time a very Fun DJ.
What do you love most about your job?
Honestly the most I love about my job is the people I meet. And how I can help them make their special day even more special, being a wedding, Quinceañera, sweet 16, Birthday, Anniversary, or any social gathering, we'll make it a fun and memorable night to remember. And That is what really puts a smile on my face : )
What inspired you to start your own business?
Well I started Djing back in 1985. I DJ'd at many chicago Clubs, Bars & Events, but I decided to start my business in 1993 With the help of my brother who is also my DJ partner. But what really inspired me was the lack of good Dj's out there. We attended many special family events, weddings, birthdays etc and noticed our family members would pay a lot for DJ's that honestly were not good enough for the money they were paying them. I saw this too many times so we decided to start our own business to give people what they are really paying for, to give them Above & Beyond great quality Entertainment.
