We've been to mana+Pua twice before and was served by the owner herself at the bar and had good experiences. However, this Saturday night the Owner was not present and the staff ran amuck. Starting with her son who appeared to have too muck to drink and carried on with a group of friends at the bar and later at a table with them. We were served by a young blonde woman who did a very poor job with us. Forgetting things and we waited quite a long time for a calzone to be served. once served the calzone was about a 2 out of 10. we could not cut through the dough on the bottom and it was partially burnt as well, yet the pepperoni inside wasn't cooked properly. Just very bad! We had started with Caesar salads which looked poorly and were very saturated with too much dressing! The crouton component was finely crumbled and ate like having sand in the dish. Not pleasant. so what is the role of the General Manager? He was present but clearly not even trying to control all that we saw happening. If I owned this place he'd be looking for employment elsewhere. We will not go back after this experience. More...

Had high hopes walking in...we ordered 2 glasses of wine - what was taking so long after 10 min? Waitress chatting it up w one of the bartenders finally noticed. Bartender poured my wine and then - not kidding - poured out some of my boyfriend's because he had more in his glass-like looking at the glass sideways - and wow that 4 oz glass was underwhelming at $15/glass. Don't waste your money. Epic fail Mana Pua More...

I usually love coming here because the food is amazing but this last experience has been extremely frustrating. I placed an online order and waited the suggested 30 minutes to come and pick it up. When I arrived to pickup my lunch I was informed that they were closing early for an art festival that day. I had asked if they by chance had made my order and the woman said she saw that it came through but that they chose to not make it for the festival - but didn't let me know or issue a refund. I stood there very confused and she said that she could just make lunch because she was making others anyway??? She also said this like is was an inconvenience which was a little off putting. She then proceeded to go inside and close the door behind her so I was left waiting outside. At this point I was a little frustrated with the very poor customer service and communication so I opened the door and said that she didn't need to worry about making the lunch and to please just refund me which she asked if I was sure and I said yes. She acknowledged me and I left. I never received a refund and I even tipped in the payment so that's over $20 for a sandwich down the drain. If I would've gotten the refund or been notified after I made the order that they were closing and couldn't make it, then there would be no issue. But this was pretty sad. More...

Took the family here on a busy weekend and the owner couldn't have been any nicer or accommodating. She was very engaging, they had coloring books for the kids (and adults) while we waited. They food was fantastic! The sandwiches were fresh and full of bright flavors and the flatbreads were unique and not too heavy. Will definitely go back. More...

Mana + Pua has become our go-to stop whenever we're on the north shore. Recent escapees from NoCal, we did miss the wine country, and were intrigued by the idea of a tasting room right here on O'ahu. While perhaps not up to California snob standards, we found their wines to be perfectly suited for Hawai'i -- refreshing, approachable, ideal for warm-weather sipping (and pairing with food), and very reasonably priced. Their menu is a huge bonus -- fantastic food from local sources, with fascinating and creative flavor combinations. I feel so fortunate to have the great resource on island -- keep up the aloha! GF options - YES! Would always go to the Acai Bowl next door. Noticed peeps eating outside and the food looked great! They always have fresh baked goods with a GF on the menu. Today topped it! There was a GF cake PLUS a vegan GF cupcake! Both were onolicious! Had the Madame Pele with the GF toast option - awesome! Ordered a black coffee which was very tasty. Had a GF cake at a wedding prior which led me there to order a special GF - low sugar cake for 12 people. Everyone loved it and no one knew they were eating GF! some people have a stigma once you mention GF. Will be there this Friday to try lunch and their wine. Will definitely return for the GF option of Flatbread. Can't wait to try the Pear Brie. Great Service. More...

The outrigger sandwich was absolutely delicious. It was definitely hearty and filling. There were many different ingredients in this sandwich that complemented each other. All the sandwiches comes with a bag of chips, in which we got a small bag of Muai Onion Hawaiian chips, as well as a small whole pickle. Even though the sandwiches are $15.5 + tax, I personally believe it is worth the price. My only critique is the amount of staff preparing and serving the food. There was only one woman working the register, preparing ALL the food (and there was a table of 6 waiting for their food), as well as serving. Despite this, she still maintained a smile and a positive attitude. Truly amazing. More...

The first thing I noticed was how scrunched the inside was. If there is someone already ordering, it's uncomfortable to stand behind them waiting to order also because the seating is scrunched inside. The food is overpriced and not worth paying that price for it. My flatbread was not good at all. I couldn't even taste the Alfredo because they barely put any on it. The Brie was not good here either. The people who ordered after me got their food before I got mine. The people who ordered right in front of me already finished eating all of their food before I even got mine. I had to wait nearly 40 minutes to get my flatbread and Brie. That's ridiculous for a take out order especially it being warm cheese and a simple flatbread. More...

This is the second time we've been here - in all honesty the first time was for a paid for yelp elite event - and it was just as good today as the first time we tried a year or two ago when they just opened. We started with some bubbly rose, and ordered the Paniolo Quesadilla & the Rainbow avo toast. Both were phenomenal again!!! But the Rainbow avo toast was the absolute star! It was fresh, salty, tad sweet, and loaded with fresh greens and sprouts - our favorite! The wait staff was an absolute dream - I wish I would have gotten the two ladies names, because I'd shout them out here (we were there 4/16 around lunch time). She let us open a 'tab' to order some bubbly before we decided on food, and was perfectly attentive without being overbearing the entire experience. We leave in 2 months (sadly!), but if you're looking for a brunch option on north shore, check this place out! More...

My absolute favorite place in Haleiwa- actually I would rate this Top 10 all of Oahu! I could spend all day here...Starting with a cup of coffee or one of their one of a kind latte flavors (banana bread, ube haupia, sea salt cheesecake) and then indulging in breakfast (chilaquiles to breakfast salad to smoked salmon lox plates - too many options! !!) to lunch (flatbreads galore) to snacking - ummmm hello the most tasty and beautiful cupcakes, cookies, breads, etc. And for those of you that also believe that a charcuterie board qualifies as a meal, the one here is epic!!! I might have eaten a 2 person board all to myself but I won't admit you it if you ask me lol Every time I come here I feel super welcomed by the owner and employees and the environment and deliciousness makes you want to hang out all day. A nice (and super cute) spot for sandwiches, coffee and treats either to stay in or to go! We saw that they hosted an Elite event for Yelpers and it looked so good, so we decided to come on in and see what it was all about. We picked up 2 sandwiches for our beach picnic and of course a slice of their insanely loaded banana bread and lemonade. Impressive. The sandwich bread was so delicious and hearty, yet light. And the hippy one with hummus was delightful and light. The club, not heavy at all, but more filling for sure. Sandwiches came with a pickle and a bag of chips.A little pricey with sandwiches ringing in at $15, but I guess the chips make it a bit more of value. But that would be my one critique. I wouldn't say the sandwiches were overloaded for that price.THAT BANANA BREAD - topped with sliced almonds, coconut shavings and a ton of chunks of chocolate. DANG. This definitely is not your healthy version of banana bread.A total awesome little beach shack perfect for a light lunch! More...

It kinda pains me to write this. I went to the yelp elite event earlier this year and really loved the cafe. But I can't say that it's the same feeling today. I came here late afternoon for coffee. I ordered an americano over ice, caramel flavoring, and a splash of milk. It was more than a splash given than what I expected and the drink was overly sweet. I have no idea how much my tab was cause I didn't hear how much the total was, and I tried using a coupon, but she said it has to be $20 or more. But since I have no idea how much my current tab was, I couldn't add additional items if it was less than $5 No where on the coupon said there was a minimum of $20 to be spent either. Also. The service was not like how it was the first time we went there. It was definitely less attentive. The first time we went there my dog got a pupachino. This time he did not even tho I mentioned out loud while I was trying to calm him down that he wanted one. Anyway. This is likely the last time I'm coming here. Now that the tourists are back they're probably banking on them again. I could have just drove a little bit further to green world farms instead and get better coffee More...

I had been wanting to experience the wine tasting at Mana + Pua for a while now and finally got the chance when we staycationed on the North Shore this past weekend. Mana + Pua is a super cute and cozy café with all the right surf chic vibes. They serve coffees, delicious sandwiches and flatbreads, and also doubles as a wine tasting room for their own wines! You can taste the Mana + Pua rainbow of 5 wines for $25. If you join their wine club, the tasting fee is waived. You can also order by the glass and bottle. Currently, they are offering the following wines: NV MANA SPARKLING BRUT, NV MANA SPARKLING ROSE, 2020 MANA SAUVIGNON BLANC, 2020 MANA CHARDONNAY, 2019 MANA ROSÉ, 2019 MANA PINOT NOIR, 2020 MANA CABERNET, 2019 PUA RED BLEND, and 2019 PUA WHITE BLEND. Currently sipping an oat milk Cloud Breaker, munching on a Madame Pele and chatting with the smiley girls working behind the counter - I can't help but leave a review! The environment in Mana & Pua feels overwhelmingly friendly thanks to Sophie and Maria! Having ordered almost everything on the breakfast menu, I can promise you the food tastes even better than it looks (which is truly impressive considering everything is picture perfect). Grabbing a cupcake for the beach is a must as well- the carrot cake with cream cheese frosting has been my favorite thus far, but stop by to check out all the options and new flavors that are made fresh each day!
