Jesse focused on my back and legs because of a previous spinal cord injury, and the techniques he used provided me much needed relief from chronic sciatic nerve pain. I did an 80-minute hot stone massage with Nina while we were on vacation in Portland. I’ve had that service once before (elsewhere) when they used stones but only on my back. Nina used the stones throughout the whole massage and it was soooo relaxing. She communicated about the temperature and the pressure and was gentle and attentive to an injured limb, checking in. They have several add-on options at reasonable prices and mentioned a variety of specials. If we are back in the Portland area we would return and try some other options! More...

Boyfriend booked an appointment with a blonde girl and was greeted by a dude with a beard. He thought the guy was the receptionist but no he was the massage therapist. My boyfriend was too polite to leave and ended up having the most emotionally uncomfortable massage of his life. Their website only shows attractive massage therapists and no guys. I had an 80 minute session today with Stephanie that was by far the most relaxing, tension extinguishing experience I think I've ever had. It was my second time at LUX but my first at their main location on 23rd, which is a really delightful and serene space. Stephanie is truly a master at the art of therapeutic massage. She unwound all the knots in my body, found and treated some old injuries that I didn't even realize I was suffering from and taught me a few simple things I could do to help prevent or diminish future problems.
