I was having difficulties training my French Bulldog Arlo. Through a recommendation from a friend I took him to Love Dog for their board and train program. It was like night and day. I couldn’t believe how well Arlo behaved and listened. Love dog had a follow up in home visit and worked with me on how to continue with training. Every time I go out of town I take Arlo to Love Dog. Between the socialization and special attention I know he is in the right place. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. I love that they also hold socials outside of the business. We started training our staffy about 8 months ago with the Love Dog Team. Reaper goes once a week for play time and he has also been boarded while we are on vacation. The team treats Reaper and my wife and I like family. We don’t worry about him when he is in their care at all we know he is safe and well taken care of. The training is on point and we couldn’t ask for a better group of people. We are overjoyed with the outcome of our dog and care he is given. We would highly recommend them for your training needs. I was very hesitant to send my beautiful Maggie to a board and train facility. But I knew I needed help with her training, and I wasn’t getting very far doing it myself. She was a major puller and 60 lbs. She loves people and they love her so she would drag me just to get to them. She was taking control of me instead of me controlling her. So, I called Lovedog and met with Rick who gave me a tour of the facility. I couldn’t believe it when I pulled in the driveway, it was absolutely beautiful. I Immediately noticed how clean everything was and how organized they were. Everyone I came into contact with was so polite and answered all my nervous mom questions. A few days later I dropped Maggie off, and they told me they would send me photos and I could call them whenever I wanted. I was in very bad shape missing Maggie for the week she was there. I picked her up and brought her home not really knowing what to expect. I can’t tell you how impressed I am between the week at Lovedog, and 1 home visit has transformed Maggie into a wonderful trained dog. The trainers were fantastic, and Michelle made sure she sent me videos and photos to relieve some of my anxiety. Maggie was having a blast! I was so impressed with Lovedog and even waited a few weeks to send this review to see how she did afterwards. They taught me how to handle several different situations and it’s all working. I’m also able to bring her to visit my dad at his ALF and she’s just perfect. In addition if I were to go on vacation or wanted her to have more advanced training, I wouldn’t estimate to bringing her to Lovedog for boarding. I can't say enough good things about Rick Bailey and Love Dog!!! I am a veterinarian and I turned to Rick for help with our stubborn, free-spirited young dog. Jozie was constantly jumping the fence, was not food motivated to train her for recall and just wanted to PLAY. I've had Rick out to my home several times to help me learn how to train Jozie. Quoted me 1500 for 3 hrs of training for 3 dogs. Told me the owner would call, he never did. A girl called that told me they use shock collars to train the dogs and I should drop my dog off for 3 weeks. No way am o doing that. Talk about PTSD for an animal More...

Rick and his staff are extremely professional!! And very knowledgeable in dog training. I dropped off my 17 week old Catahoula Leppard for 2 weeks of Board & Train. It's hard to leave your baby with someone else for any amount if time, but they helped me through the 2 long weeks by sending me pictures and videos. They would also text me letting me know how Max was doing. They made the 2 weeks a little easier!! They trained Max in hand gesture, and voice commands. They leash trained. They also taught my Max how to swim and get over his fear of the water! My pup Max was a typical puppy, he was hyper and would bite hands, legs, feet, and clothes. When he came home he was still a puppy but he doesn't bite or pull on clothing. If he does you give him the command and he stops. When we would walk him on leash he would pull us, now he heals and walks with us. We are extremely happy with what Rick and his staff have done for our family and for Max!
Rick came to our home a few weeks later to see how Max is doing, and to also help train us so we can keep up Max's behavior training. To make sure we have the gestures and commands down. Max remembered Rick right away. It made me happy to see that Max was excited to see Rick. To me that tells me everything. If Max would not of remembered Rick, or growled it would of concerned me. But Max was licking, jumping, and doing the butt wiggle all over Rick!
We will continue to send Max out to Lovedogs periodically to keep up training and to go to the next level. If you need or want your dog's behavior to be better, or just need to tighten up some things, then Lovedogs Inc. is the place to send them!! We met Rick at an adoption event hosted by Nala’s New Life Rescue. After observing him with other individuals considering adoptions, we knew he was just what we needed. Not only is he available for basic dog training, he’s also experienced with Therapy Dog training and evaluations and Agility. After losing one of beloved dogs to cancer in June, we had made several attempts to introduce another dog into our “pack”. We were having a difficult time finding a new dog suitable for our needs that could meld in with our current family members. Rick stepped right in to help us. While we were away for a weekend, he became our pet-sitter and adoption assistant, spending many hours finding a good match for us. We could not be happier with the results. A wonderful, easy-going, second rescue dog has joined our family.
- About four months later, we had an issue with our lab-mix becoming aggressive to a few other dogs. Rick came to our house and spent time evaluating her and determined she is very receptive to corrections. I guess we were the ones needing training. He helped us brush up on our own handling skills. He is a natural with dogs and we can see it whenever he is around our animals; both of our dogs just love him. We are so happy and grateful for Rick’s expertise and compassionate training methods. We are fans of his services for life!

I rescued a pitbull from Big Dog Ranch that had been very abused and neglected by her previous owners. Brandy from Big Dog Ranch recommended Lovedog. Brandy is a beautiful dog loving person and immediately touched my heart so I trusted her experience and judgement. Rick came to my home and after just 1 session I began to not only see improvements but knew how to properly train my dog. I have done a few sessions with Rick and it's amazing the connection he has with dogs. My dog Storm is the sweetest dog thanks to Brandy saving her and an absolute joy to be around after she worked with Rick. I can take her anywhere. As a volunteer with Nala's Rescue in Palm City, I have witnessed Rick and Jaime's work with many dogs we rescue. Lovedogs is the trainers we trust. Sometimes, our rescue dogs come from terrible backgrounds of neglect and abuse, they can be scared, and/or have socialization issues. This is when we call Rick. He works wonders on a very gentle way. I recently witnessed the case of a beautiful dog, Teddy, that we could not get adopted because he was jumping in excitement on people. Rick worked with him and we starting noticing a huge improvement right after the first time. It took only 2 sessions until this dog stopped that behavior. I only trust my grumpy mini french poodle to Rick & Jaime.

I should have done this years ago. In Feb. 2016,<br>I got a chihuahua/terrier mix. He was 3 1/2 mos.<br>old. I asked if he was too young to train. No. <br>They would be here in a week, but wanted $200<br>to hold his spot, I paid. When they came to pick<br>him up, I gave them $1200. They would keep him<br>for 2 weeks &amp; needed to provide the food. All done. <br>16 days later they all arrived at my house. The dog<br>wouldn't budge until they gave the OK. They did<br>&amp; he came running to me. He was great for the<br>rest of the day. I paid them the balance of<br>$1200 &amp; off they went. The very next day the<br>dog reverted to his old ways. I went online &amp; <br>checked the videos on the site &amp; saw my dog<br>lying in the grass while all these other dogs<br>we're being trained. I wondered if they had<br>worked with my dog at all. The following days<br>I thought about the $2600 it cost me. Then I<br>stopped thinking about it. Finally I called them<br>back in 2017. I asked if they would take him<br>back for further training. They came to my<br>house &amp; told me they would need another<br>$1200 to do that. I was shocked. He proudly<br>said he had a house built on his property. <br>There was absolutely no meeting of the minds. <br>Do not use this trainer unless you have VERY<br>DEEP pockets &amp; like to give your money away<br>for NOTHING. WOW what a change just 10 days can make with board and train with Lovedog and the team! Well the worth the money. Our black lab shepherd (1 1/2years) came back calm, confident, and well behaved along with our 9yr old jack/corgi (he's more of a couch cruiser nowadays). Loved the photos and videos that were sent to us while we were away to insure the boys were having a great time. Thanks so much for taking such great care of the boys while we were gone and for all the work you've put into the program! We saw an immediate change the first night we had just Jasper come stay the night for the trial after he was neutered, but the changes after the board and train are even more obvious! Rick came to our home to help us learn how to train our Rhodesian Ridgeback on how to better obey/follow commands, stop counter surfing and jumping, as well as walk better on a leash. He sat down and went through all concerns and how to better handle them and what our options were, then he took our boy Ronin out with us to train. He was phenomenal with him! In 20 min it was like a completely different dog already! My husband and I are so impressed and have noticed a huge changed already! We will definitely be going back for more lessons and can't wait! Seriously one of the best dog trainers I have met with and am so happy to have had the opportunity. He goes above and beyond and is laid back. My husband & I recently rescued a an amazingly loveable yet stubborn 1 1/2yo M Belgian Malinois. After checking out Rick's impressive background & speaking with him, we decided he was the one for us. After 4 sessions, he's made a huge difference. Rick has been extremely courteous & well organized in his explanation of how to help us help our dog succeed with our problems & basic obedience. He has always made himself available to us with questions or concerns & has never made us feel any question or comment was stupid. In fact, he's welcomed them all & has never brushed us off. His fees are more than reasonable, & we were even more happy to learn that he offers Board & Train services as well as Service training of which we're most interested. Rick is always on time & we so appreciate his flexibility with our schedule. We've been so happy with his services & are looking forward to more sessions with Rick. I'd give Lovedog Inc. Five paws!
