As a small business owner it meant a lot for us to identify local small business to work with for our wedding - and Love & Roux did not disappoint!
We cannot express just how wonderfully this team took care of us. From the very first impression/tasting it was clear that they cared about their craft and their clients - and that showed in everything that they did.
We presented challenges for them in dealing with allergens, logistics issues with the venue, and a compressed timeline. They took each of these in stride and rolled with everything.
To start with, the food was simply amazing. Almost every guest raved about their redbeans, boudin grilled cheese, and the fried deviled eggs. The food was thoughtfully and beautifully presented.
They showed a truly delicate hand in how they interacted with the guests. We had multiple people comment about how much grace and patience they showed in talking to our guests about their individual allergens to help ensure that they were confident that what they were eating would not cause issues.
The venue threw curves as everyone set up in a compressed period of time, and nothing seemed to phase these two.
We wish Love & Roux the utmost success in this business and know that if they provide every customer the level of care they showed us that they will not only thrive, but have a fierce collection of happy clients eager to get their name out throughout the region.
