Lo (who was recommended to us by a friend) did an amazing job designing our apartment in connection with the renovation of our 2 BR / 2 BA apartment in Manhattan. Lo provided excellent designs after we provided her with examples of our preferred Japandi styles / designs. Based on those preferences Lo designed our living room and home office shelving units in addition to our radiator / air conditioning covers / storage units located under our windows. Lo also provided invaluable recommendations for all of our furniture, kitchen cabinets and bathroom hardware (including tiles and vanities) and came up with great suggestions for things we did not even know existed (such as a ventless fireplace) and worked directly with showroom staff. Lo worked exceptionally well with our GC and his crew, which helped to make the renovation project less stressful overall. I am a mental health professional and was in desperate need of a relaxing, calm and beautiful space.
Lo is a highly educated professional with an impressive resume and portfolio.
She came up with an exquisite and functional design for my office. She listened to my needs and was respectful of my budget. She has great taste and style and implemented my project from start to finish. She left no small detail unattended to. She keeps things moving in a timely fashion and was extremely attentive. (and fun to work with) The end result has been a wonderfully soothing environment which is exactly what I wanted. My clients consistently comment on how beautiful my office environment is. Lo was a joy to work with, she had wonderful ideas and also worked with our personal style and taste to help us build our dream home. She was also very patient with our questions and demanding time frames, responding promptly while living across the country from us. Lo did a terrific job for my Shanghai apartment. Even thought we were half the globe apart, she helped design the entire apartment, including living room, and bedrooms, offered invaluable advance on color tone, furniture design, appliances that are both chic and homey. Furthermore, she is super patient with me, when I seek advice on colors, fabric, materials that I should use for my wardrobes, curtains etc. I'll definitely go back to Lo should I buy my next apartment. I have the pleasure to work with Lo and would highly recommend her service. During the pandemic, I am required to work from home. My home office was downright depressing and Lo gave me a complete makeover. She brightens up my work environment with functional yet uplifting design. In addition, her lean design is sustainable and environmentally friendly, even keeping my office ventilation in mind. I first commissioned Lo to do the interior design of a NYC apartment. I chose Lo out of a number of designers, for two reasons.
Firstly, her portfolio is quite impressive and her design approach appealed to me. Secondly, I had a clear vision of the aesthetic that I wanted and Lo came across as a great collaborator to pull it all together. Over two years on, we continue to appreciate many aspects of our chic space - from Lo's great choice of an oval marble, pedestal dining table to our fabulous extra large Italian leather sectional.
When we decided to undergo a full gut renovation of a house in the Hamptons, I once again commissioned Lo. Lo has been a great partner from sourcing our amazing tiles to deciding on an array of paint colors, fixtures and fittings. Together we have created a wonderful contemporary, beach feel which is exactly what I was looking to achieve. Lo is a very talented designer and fantastic person to work with. I highly recommend Lo for projects of any size.
