For now, I am only offering online personal training. Eventually I will offer in person.
Personal Training
Appointments are offered for 50 minutes depending on individual needs, wants and goals of the client. A DNA test is purchased through the company IDLife, and the results are available within 3-4 weeks. In the meantime, assessments for posture, movement, general fitness and psychomotor skills are conducted over 2-3 appointments. Following the completion of those, a training cycle with a focus on stabilization and mobility is developed and implemented for the month. With the arrival of the DNA results, your program is strategically individualized to your predominate energy system, muscle fiber type and ability to recover. Progress is measured and monitored using a strategic balance of linear and non-linear periodization. The overall training focus is on building upper and lower core stability, muscular endurance and functional strength.
DigestRest Sessions
DigestRest is an innovative method of recovery training consisting of time segments utilizing various modalities that over time, increase microcirculation in muscles thereby providing the body with the oxygenated environment needed to maintain physical health. Massage gun therapy, stick roller therapy, assisted stretching, electrolyzed reduced water, and BEMER therapy are the modalities used. These appointments are the focus of the package option, and our recommended for those who have chronic muscular pain, joint inflammation, or other limitations due to injury.
Habit and Lifestyle Coaching
The habit and lifestyle coaching program aims to help clients dig deeper in clearly define their vision and long-term goals. Through various assignments and weekly tasks, clients are guided in each dimension of health to offer a holistic perspective on how to restructure current behaviors into improved habits. Clients meet 3-5 days each week with Michael. 1, 2 and 3 month programs are offered.
