Steven DaCosta with Let It Drop Entertainment was the DJ for our 2026 Prom, and he absolutely knocked it out of the park! From start to finish, he was professional, organized, and so easy to work with .One of our favorite features was the online song request link and QR code he provided ahead of the event. It allowed our students to submit their song requests in advance, while giving us the opportunity to review the list and remove any songs that didn't align with our event guidelines. It made the entire process smooth and stress-free.During the dance, Steven did an incredible job reading the crowd and keeping the students on the dance floor all night. The music was fun, energetic, age-appropriate, and exactly what our students wanted to hear. He was very easy to communicate with during the pre-wedding stages, and even has an extremely organized app system that allows you to curate a wedding night of music that is as specific, or as open as you want it to be. DJ with Turntable Mixing
I professionally mix on a full DJ setup using Technics mk5 turntables and Serato DJ software.
MC
I am a very professional MC. I like to get on the mic and have fun but also find a balance of letting the music play. I am well experienced with grand introductions and moderating discussions.
Uplighting
I have full venue uplighting to create a unique atmosphere. The lights can be controlled by sound or through A.I. software that reads each track as it's played
Dance Lighting
I use moving spotlights on top of light up columns. The spot lights are A.I. controlled with software that reads the music as it's played to create a light show. The spot lights can be controlled to position on specific places to highlight dances or speakers. During dance times patterns and lights will move all around the room.
Custom Planning App
I have a custom made app that allows you to upload playlists directly from any streaming service. There are also suggestions for all types of services. We can plan the whole event timeline from the app.
Column Speakers w/ Wireless Fill PA
I use modern column speakers for most events. These speakers bring a stylish, professional and elegant look to your space. They have amazing sound quality with 15 speakers per column. The sound is incredibly full and wide. I also have a wireless battery powered PA speaker for fill in separate or remote spaces.
