First off, let me say that I hardly write reviews. I want to write one for Legacy Strength because, if I’m going to leave a review, it will be because I truly 100% believe it can benefit someone else. There are 4 positives that I love about working out at Legacy Strength. 1). The Facility: Inside and outside of the building are very clean. The bathroom is also very clean. There is also working AC to stay cool while exercising. Though the room is small, the equipment is set up to where there is enough room for at least 5 people to be in the same room and exercise comfortably. There is a variety of sturdy exercise equipment to work from. The floors are heavily padded for safety. The best part is that you can request what music to play while you have a great workout session! 2). The Trainer: Mr. Tom is PHENOMENAL! He listens to your specific needs and tries to design a plan that works specifically for you. If you and a partner, spouse, or friend goes together, he will make plans that meets each individuals’ needs (whether you want to lose, gain, or maintain the same weight). I go with my son on the same day and at the same time. I started as very non athletic and wanted to lose weight. My son was more athletic and wanted to tone and build muscle. Mr. Tom gave us both separate exercise plans and nutritional plan ideas to help us both reach our goals. 3). Flexibility: Mr. Tom has a variety of ways that he can work out with you. 1. Online 2. At Legacy Fitness 3. At Your Location You also have the option for him to give you workouts to do at the gym of your choice. 4). My Weight Loss: Allowing Mr. Tom to be my personal trainer was the best decision I ever made! I went in May 22, 2025 (almost 2 months ago). My starting weight was 350 lbs. I currently weigh 297 lbs. The results I got strictly came from following his instructions and always trying to do better than my previous workout. I have also heard of other success stories of people losing 40 and 80 lbs. I also know he has successfully trained those who wanted to gain weight. Everyone is different, but one thing is a guarantee: You will never reach your goal if you don’t start somewhere! More...

Don’t come here, if you wanna keep cheating yourself. That doesn’t fly around Legacy. Matt is more than a trainer, he is a mentor figure. He will challenge and help you grow physically as well as mentally. He will show you that you’re not stuck, that you’re like wet clay. You too can be molded into something bigger and better than you ever thought. I had been working for commercial gyms for over a decade and I noticed things could be done a lot better. I love being my own boss and owning a gym has been a goal of mine for a long time.

I have over 15 years of experience working with a wide range of clients, from ages 14-83, and a masters degree in exercise science. Im really good at finding out what motivates each client, deciphering their goals and then developing a great plan to achieve them. I have a long history of helping clients achieve their goals and over 110 5-star reviews on Google.

Yes. We have a custom training app that allows me to draw up workouts for clients that can be done anywhere. All of the exercises have videos explaining proper technique, which is great for beginners and advanced clients. You’ll have weekly check-ins with me to answer any questions and assess your progress.

We follow sanitation guidelines, including wiping down equipment after each use.

Services

1 on 1 personal training sessions offering up a fun yet effective exercise routine. This also includes customized workouts for when you aren’t with your trainer and nutrition coaching to help you achieve your body image goals.

I work with clients all over the country by writing up workouts for them in my custom training app and coaching them on nutrition to help them reach their goals. I monitor their progress throughout the week and schedule a weekly check in call to touch base, provide feedback, and make sure they are setup for success.
