I use Ledgerway for three of my businesses and have been using them for over two years. I question often why am I using them? They miss tax payments, which cost us penalties. I used to refer people to this firm ~10+ years ago but would no longer do that. Our CPA dropped the ball too many times for us to forgive. His emails are hard to follow, he can't reply all to include my husband and I in communication. I was with another firm that I was a bit disappointed with so I had received a refund and the experience so far from that firm and working with Chase is night and day. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had with a bookkeeping company. They are impossible to communicate with — no responses to emails, calls, or messages. My books were never kept up to date, and I didn’t receive my year-end report until May, even though they had all the information in January. As a small business, I quickly realized we were not a priority for them. I actually had to escalate to the CEO just to get my year-end report. To make matters worse, right after finally delivering that, they notified me that my monthly fee would jump from $350 to $1,800. Completely unacceptable. Worst company everLedger way knows the best how to charge you the last penny but doing nothing, they are wonderful at wasting your time and make you stress life even more stressful, and they value the labor cost much more rather than the value they can bring on the table to their clients.
