Estuvimos con niños en la mesa y ya sabemos que los niños son inquietos y toda la atención estuvo a la altura ... mil y mil gracias Vinimos desde Florida y nos vamos súper felices ! I have been here several times and it's always interesting and delicious. Â My favorite is the ceviche and pachamanca. Â The interior has a nice modern Peruvian asthetic with relaxing pan flute music.

Been wanting to try this place after trying Peruvian food in the Bay Area. La Huaca was very good! We went for lunch on Sunday and found it was a buffet. It was a great way to try all the dishes. Yessie was our waitress, she was very attentive and even gave us samples of their native fruit drinks which were delicious. The buffet had a lot of choices but was too pricey for me to come back often. If you want good Peruvian food, I definitely recommend La Huaca in Roseville! More...

Amazing place, our to-go stop whenever we are in the area. Pretty much all the items on the menu are amazing (I just had their quinoa salad and it was unbelievably tasty and filling- but I kind of got used to it with Peruvian food by now). Our waiter Giorgio was super friendly and helpful. Warmly recommended. P.S. Their Sunday buffet is also excellent, although there are slightly fewer vegetarian choices, but the desserts make up for it ;) More...

La Huaca is simply wonderful! SAVED our Thanksgiving after a last minute change of travel plans. The Lamb Shanks are "off the hook" excellent! ! Salads too! Just as we remembered from previous visits. So fortunate to have it easily accessible to our neighborhood. A treasure not to be dismissed! Â George treated us with great care and attention. (Ask him about making breakfast from the Leftover Lamb!) Â The food is meant to be savored and enjoyed. Pure, simple, honest ingredients and presentation. We intend to make a point of eating there more often in the future! Thank you for making our Thanksgiving so delicious and memorable!! More...

My wife picked this place with the advise of coworkers,I was out of the loop as it was my birthday dinner, surprise destination. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated and advised of the extensive Peruvian menu, appetizers and wine list."George" our waiter, was very helpful with the menu and suggestions thru his thick accent.( this added to the authenticity,I thought) the wife had salmon with quinoa salad, she loved, I tried it and noted that the skin on the salmon was delicious.(I don't eat salmon skin, until now). I ordered the lamb shank, which was cooked to perfection, and way too much for one personI'll be having the leftovers for breakfast!paired with a nice pinot noir.... topped it off with an on the house birthday cheese cake with lemon whipped creme We will definitely be coming back here and bringing friends!.... thanks George! Not bad! But also not the best. The pricing was a bit more on the higher side when considering portion size compared to Peruvian restaurants in the Bay/East Bay Area. I do appreciate that there is one in the Sacramento area for people to go to. The ceviche was good, the tomatoes for the lomo saltado was very nice and juicy with tons of flavor, albeit the carne was kind of too dry for my taste. We did have aquadito de pollo and that was delicious! I am making my own as we speak! Their chicha Morada lacked the depth and flavor I crave from my chichas. The Lucuma ice cream was a no no for me. It was super icy and I was only able to take a few bites. Overall, this is a nice place to go to. Â It's just not memorable for me. We might be back for happy hour! Also they have a buffet option on Sunday's for all you people who can eat a lotttt. More...

We ordered a variety of dishes: a trio of empanadas, ceviche, plantains, and a meat stew type dish. The empanadas were delish, I adore empanadas so of course I was all over this. The beef was my favorite, but the chicken and veggie one were equally good. The ceviche we ordered was the Leche de Tigre, a hangover cure and (oh la la) aphrodisiac. More...

This place has been on my radar for some time now, and thanks to Groupon I was able to finally motivate myself to come here. First thing, no double dipping HH and Groupon. We came here on a Tuesday and it's HH all day, so keep that in mind. On to the review, this place is amazing. Peruvian food shares a spice and flavor profile with many cuisines, including Japanese and , Chinese influences. So go in with gusto! Did it work? Maybe ;) The meat stew thing, Pachamanca Tres Carnes was tasty, I did prefer the chicken and beef over the pork, but I would definitely order this one again. Lastly, we had plantains, or plantanos. I love fried plantains, so naturally, this was amazing. It ended up being a lot more food than we realized, but we also had been on a low carb diet so our appetites were diminished.Drink wise, my husband had Peruvian beer and I had the obligatory pisco sour. Both delicious and I cannot wait to have another one.Service was friendly. Our server was running around by herself for most of the evening and even had a LARGE party to attend to as well. Despite being in the weeds during our meal she handled herself very professionally. I will be back, especially on a Tuesday when it's HH all day! More...

Excellent and delicious food...service was excellent and you felt transported to Peru. We tried the empanadas trio and weren't disappointed. Then we tried the ceviche sampler...all were exquisite. Very good food! The waiter was really sweet too. I had gotten the yuca relleno appetizer, which I decided to order in spite of the dipping sauce not being available today. They were pretty good, but wish I had the sauce to try with them. I also got the tilapia dish. It was good, but I think after the fried yucca, the fried fish was too much. Veggies were tasty and the sauce on the fish was like a creamy pesto. I look forward to returning to try the other menu items! Love the decor also. More...

OMG, the Pisco Sour is divine balanced drink perfection: lime, light, sweet, a little sour, a little foamy, refreshing, smooth, fruity, ring of cinnamon, cinnamon, like a smooth filtered lemonade, can barely taste alcohol, but drink is strong. Can't stop thinking about the drink. Dangerous! Restaurant takes care in testing and perfecting drink recipes. The green dip that accompanies the complimentary bread tastes magical. Wish I had written down or remembered the ingredients when I asked. Some combo of olive oil, garlic, cilantro, and/or parsley. The end product was greater than the sum of its parts.Unfortunately, you can't use $25 Yelp voucher or any other discounts or promotions with Happy Hour, so don't buy it unless you are ordering off regular dinner menu. In addition, only one voucher per table. I saw another table run into trouble with that.Tiger's Milk (Leche de Tigre) seafood cocktail was much too sour. All I could taste was lime juice. Will try ceviches next time.Skip the beef heart skewer. I will try the more popular chicken skewer in the future.Food is beautifully plated. It is art. Surprising, appetizing colors. More...
