I have over 30 years experience in training dogs, including show and obedience competition training. I have worked with teaching children to train their dogs for the 4-H dog project for over 20 years. If I can teach youngsters to train their dogs, I can teach you as well!

Hope was wonderful with my pup, Lucy. I hired Hope for private training for Lucy to work on beginner commands with her. Lucy came from a hoarder situation and spent her entire life caged up until she came to me. She was pretty raw as far as confidence level and knowing what to do with her energy (collie/lab) mix. Every time i met with Hope, she went through commands and training with me. After the session, she would also always email me a detailed session "playbook". This part was a life saver for me because my memory is not great. She has the utmost professionalism and really understands the minds of pups. I had to take a break from training due to my own health issues. I play to start up again as soon as i can though. Would highly recommend. More...

Wonderful place to let the dog vacation. Hope is a real dog whisperer and her dogs are a very nice pack. She spends a lot of time and effort doing training and gives you a written handout of all the training so that you can continue at home.

Private Lesson
I offer one hour Private, puppy training lessons in your home or desired location. We will focus on the behaviors which are most important to you and your puppy.
Price of $100 / hour includes emailed summary of the lesson and any applicable homework sheets.
Private Lesson Package
I offer a Package of 4 private lessons, Lively Lessons, at a discounted rate off of 4 regular, single private lessons. In Lively Lessons we build off of each lesson to strengthen your Puppy's good behavior choices. In most cases, a package of 4 Lively Lessons can teach as much as a 6 week group class.
Price of $375 / 4 lessons includes emailed summary of each lesson and any applicable handout sheets.
In Home Day Train package
My In Home Day Train is a unique package where I come to your home either 3 or 5 times a week and train your puppy during either a walk outside in your neighborhood or time in your home. Each session consists of a 30-45 minute Day Training session teaching your puppy foundation obedience which every dog should learn. As your puppy becomes proficient, then these behaviors are applied to everyday situations. Day Training allows your puppy to learn without ever leaving your home.
All new behaviors learned are demonstrated to you so you can continue to reinforce them throughout the week.
Price of $200 / 3 sessions or $320 / 5 sessions includes treats for each lesson and any needed equipment (leash, collar, harness etc.) Verbal or emailed summaries are given after each lesson.
Board and Train in my home
Board and Train in my home is my premier package where your puppy comes to live with me for either 10 days, 14 days or 28 days. During that time, the puppy is trained daily in 2-3 structured sessions per day. In between training sessions the puppy gets to play with my very social Collies. Rest periods in a private kennel (not a crate) indoors are scheduled into the day. This structured training produces quick learning in a short period of time. This program is only available to limited puppies and only offered when time and space allows. Please consult with me to see if your puppy qualifies and to see if I have space available.
