Where do I begin? Karen is a gift to not only your canine companion but to you! She is knowledgeable, detail oriented, consistent, and giving with her time and expertise. She truly wants you and your dog to be happy together and gives everything she can to that goal. My Mabel was very anxious and reactive to sounds in our apartment, walks, and every dog we saw. That is hard to manage living in downtown San Francisco. She would bark so aggressively, she was scaring people and I could not calm her. I dreaded leaving my apartment and never got a lot done in the apartment either with all the barking at hearing people in the halls. Mabel then went to board and train with Karen, and it was worth every penny. Karen loved her, gave her tools to relax, and gave me the tools to continue what she started. Mabel now goes grocery shopping, enjoys long walks around all the city people, and happily sleeps in her kennel both at night and during the day even when all the apartment noises are happening. We are so excited for her, and it would not have been possible without Karen. As Mabel conquers and solidifies this first round of training, I look forward to more sessions with Karen. Maybe one day Mabel will be a relaxed, off leash dog. I have every hope knowing I now know Karen and have her as a resource. More...

Karen is an amazing trainer! K9 Kultura helped us in moments where we had lost hope with our puppy. Karen helped us with recall, reactive pup, pup triggers, etc. Karen provided a plan & helped us create a functional structure- she continuously took time to explain the principles and process to create a healthy and sustainable environment for the pup and us. What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is that I get to help people navigate and establish a communication system with their canine companion that will grant them the freedom to enjoy each other in all of life’s adventures.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My dog Kylo Ren inspired me to start my own business. He was my very first companion. He is a rescue and 18 different breeds. As a first time owner I did not have the expertise or tools to help me understand some of his behaviors. He means the world to me so I ventured out to get him the help he needed so that we both could enjoy life together. I started off doing training with him 7 years ago and fell in love with the art of training, so I decided to learn all skills necessary to be able to help people who are in similar situations.
Why should our clients choose you?
I think clients would enjoy being part of my pack as I pride myself on going above and beyond to make everyone be heard and understood in the same way I was when I needed help. Every dog/clients is treated as if they are part of my own pack, because they are. Relationship based training is so important.
