Our review is a little different than most. We were there in 1977, while I was a resident at the Family Practice medical residency there in Clarksburg. Julio himself came to our table, where we were seated with the clinical director of our residency, Dr. Bob Hess. My wife and I recall terrific ambience, fantastic food, and the most wonderful experience with Julio! We enjoyed our visit. We had a large Paisano salad and shared it. It was delicious and a very large portion. My husband had the lasagna and I had a scallop pasta special. Everything about our experience was excellent -- service, food, wine, and value! I live near Washington DC, and I have yet to find an Italian restaurant remotely comparable to the quality Julio's provides. If you want excellent Italian food and service in the Clarksburg WV area, and don't mind spending a bit more than your run of the mill restaurant, visit Julio's.
