I mentioned to Jake that I injured my shoulder years ago lifting. The pain has bothered me off and on for years. My shoulder was inflamed and had been hurting me for over four months. He quickly analyzed the problem by observing my posture and testing my flexibility. I was given very specific exercises along with posture improvement keys. I saw immediate results. I just needed someone who knew the ins and outs of getting there body into shape. I went only and looked for a trainer. I had different trainers calling me left and right trying to get me to train with them. It felt like they were trying too hard. As I searched I found Jakes site. I saw his profile and before after picture. His before was exactly how my body was when I started. I got in touch and he was quick to respond. I told him I was looking to drop the weight that I gained. I started at 186. With his regiment he gave me which included a strict meal plan and a minimal workout plan I was able to drop down to 165. This time frame was from the last week of November 2023 to the 3rd week of January 2024. I found my bodies cravings have disappeared. It really was sticking to his process but I didn't expect such results. He has good knowledge and a great website to follow workouts on. I started working with Jake a month and a half ago and he has been a game changer for me. I've lost weight, lost body fat/gained muscle, have more energy and better mood. It's really convenient that he comes to your gym...as he says, "all you need to do is show up." I generally don't like working out because it has always felt boring and I don't know my way around a gym, but he makes it physically and mentally challenging in a way that makes you feel really good about yourself, and enjoyable. He also tracks you in apps and checks in if you need that type of encouragement, does food planning...he's great. Jake has been training my fiancee and I for around two months now and we could not be happier to have found him. 10/10, would recommend. We have a smaller gym within our apartment building, but Jake does a great job of maximizing what equipment you have available to you. I've found Jake to be an excellent communicator. This is important not only for establishing long term goals, and also gauging progress along the way. In previous spurts of going to the gym, my technique was never the best and I believe this caused me to overcompensate with larger muscles (back, shoulders, etc). With Jake, I've been able to fine tune the mechanics of each exercise and really isolate the muscles I'm intending to work. I started training with Jake on 3/22/18. My goal: gain muscle and lose some body fat... a tall order! I knew it would be really tough since I'm 50 and yep, menopausal. I'm not a scale person but I probably needed to lose 7-10 lbs. I tried doing it on my own by cutting calories & doing extra cardio - NO changes. I tried South Beach... lost 1 pound in 3 weeks while the husband lost 7. GrrrrRESULTS SO FAR: After 1 month of training with Jake, I've lost a total of 7 INCHES (upper & lower abdomen, thighs, etc.)!! I lost a few pounds too. I would've lost more scale weight but I gained valuable muscle. We have 2 more sessions to go, so I'm expect that a few more inches will vanish. SO SO HAPPY!! I've gone down almost 2 belt notches, my puffy stomach is finally flattening, my thighs are SO tight and my arms are finally showing real muscle tone. :)) ROUTINE: We trained 2x/week, and Jake advised me to do cardio 3x/week (30-45 min. power walking plus 10 minutes of treadmill HIITs). It's tough but it's worth every second and every penny! Jake makes it fun... as fun as pain can be. :)) He pushes hard but also understands client limitations (I have a lower back issue). My fiancé and I have been working out with Jake for the last 5 months, and we are very happy with the results we are getting.
I am 5'2 and 112 lbs, and my goal is to lose fat and tone up. So far, I lost about 4% of body fat which is a lot for my height and weight! He has been providing us some suggestions for the personalized diet (macros as well as tips for healthy eating) and workouts we could do on the dates we do not work out with him.

You must have a specific goal first, then a plan to reach your goal... thats where I come in and help you strategize your plan and implement the plan with a schedule. I do this with training and nutrition so you don't have any guess work.
What do you love most about your job?
I love helping see people take their body to a new level of fitness that they never knew they could reach. Its amazing to see someone lose that 20 pounds of college weight that they never thought they would ever lose and get back to the lowest weight since high school!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was fortunate enough to have a friend who encouraged me to start my own business and the rest is history.
