Last week Friday, my wife and I celebrated our son/nephew high school graduation and hired Jackson cooke to walk around the party and entertain. Jackson far exceeded our expectations, especially since he only did his card tricks and not show all the rest of his act (this was at our request). The number of people that spoke about the party and how awesome the magician was truly emphasized how impressive he is.

At one point, we had a group of 17/18 year-old sitting down on the floor looking up to him in amazement. Don’t know the last time I saw 17/18-year-olds given their full attention to one person for more than two minutes.

We had Jackson perform for a big family party and he was awesome! He did a great job engaging both the kids (ages 3-13) and adults. We had Jackson do walk around magic to start the night and then a show for the whole group to follow that. The walk around magic was incredible, leaving everyone blown away by all of his various tricks. It's a nice way to let the people who really enjoy magic get to see it up close and personal. My wife and I were hosting our first thanksgiving and it couldn’t have gone any better. Jackson and I first met a year or so prior one evening at a restaurant in the south end neighborhood of Charlotte. Jackson was performing up close magic and was doing a very impressive job getting us to react. This memory is something that stuck with me for quite a while as it was a great experience. Jackson is excellent! We met Jackson several years ago when he was early on in his career. I was happy that I could reconnect with him and have him perform at my daughter’s 13th birthday party. He was very entertaining and did amazing card and “mentalism“ magic tricks. Also, I thought he handled the very challenging 13-year-old heckler age of our party very well. It didn’t phase him at all.
