What inspired you to start your own business?
From Service to Security: The Iron Spear Protection Journey
After serving 6 years in the United States Army Infantry, I entered the security industry at a high level, working with esteemed clients like HBO, private celebrities, business executives, and contracting with PMCs. But life doesn’t always go as planned. My mother, who had been in remission from cancer for two years, faced a sudden and aggressive relapse. In order to be with her and my family during this difficult time, I moved back home.
While there, I joined a uniform security company, hoping to contribute in some way. What I found was disappointing. The majority of the staff were there just for a paycheck, showing little care for the clients, and the company itself offered no investment in their employees’ careers or futures. It was clear to me that something needed to change.
I wanted to shake up the industry—to build a company that focused on career-oriented opportunities, where professionals could thrive, grow, and truly make a difference. I wanted to invest in the people who would shape the future of security.
Thus, Iron Spear Protection Group LLC was born. Through dedication and a commitment to excellence, we’ve grown into one of the top security companies in the world, proudly serving a roster of prestigious clients.
