Just wrote a review on yelp about the excellence of the work on whatever I take in. Yes sometimes I wish I could pick up my things sooner but I know a week's wait is a reflection of busy and good they are at alterations, etc.

Now called 'Irina's Decor,' I highly recommend using this seamstress if you have any alterations needs. My mother has been going there for years and I've never heard her complain. And here's my experience.Last week I bought a dress for a wedding at a consignment shop and had to have it altered. I brought it to Irina's. I brought it on Tuesday and they told me it would be ready by Saturday. That was OK I said, because my wedding was Sunday.Fast forward to Saturday. I took a nap after lunch and woke up around 2 pm. Decided to go to Irena's and get my dress. I go there and it's closed! They closed at 1 pm! Silly ME for not checking the hours when I went to drop off my dress. I just assumed they would be open until 5-6, like their weekday hours. I called the store but there was no answer. I left a voicemail hoping someone checks on the weekend. I go home and go to their website and find an email address. I send them an email explaining the situation and that I badly need that dress for a wedding the next day. I received a call back within 15 minutes and they were extremely kind. They said no problem, we don't want you to stress, we will have someone over to the shop within 15 minutes. And they did! I picked up my dress and it was done just right. If a business goes above and beyond to help a customer out -- they deserve accolades. It was my fault I didn't pay attention to their Saturday hours and I arrived 2 hours after they closed. Yet they were very responsive and helpful and had the issue resolved within an hour! That is amazing customer service. And I also thought my dress was tailored very well. Irina's has my vote for life. More...

I don't believe the negative review. Â You should honestly check to see if one hip is higher than the other...it make a difference. Â that's how i discovered my slight abnormality. More...
