I highly recommend Instant Request DJ, especially their Black Tie option. We worked with DJ Samuel and he was the best DJ we could've asked for! I had very specific snippets I wanted played from particular songs for our ceremony/first dances, and he nailed it. Everything was perfect! Sam was extremely communicative and very accomodating to our needs. He kept the dancefloor packed and we received several comments on how much everyone enjoyed him. Sam helped make our day perfect and we're so thankful! Instant Request DJ's online planner is also super helpful in organizing all music/details needed for the day. Demitrious was the DJ for my wedding and he helped our evening go smoothly. Our over the phone consultation to review our wedding party, schedule, and music genres and songs was very nice. After the meeting we felt like we had it all figured out and we're in good hands. Its hard to meet someone for the first time and feel like you had made a connection, but he had. The day of the event went well. He had all the introductions down and helped keep the night on schedule. We had the pleasure of working with Xavier on our wedding day, and we are so grateful that he was assigned as our DJ! From the second I stepped into the venue he introduced himself, and was so communicative throughout the entire night which was so appreciated. Used Instant Request for my wedding in September and I had Seth B as my DJ. Prior to my wedding I had a consult over the phone and I could tell right away I was in good hands. I made my own playlist but after speaking with Seth he had some not only great song suggestions but tips for the wedding and how to go about timing for everything. We could not recommend Joseph Ackland enough!! He kept the dance floor alive and really read the crowd to keep everyone dancing ALL NIGHT LONG! He listened to all of our requests and executed them perfectly! He was so friendly and easy to work with. Our wedding was nothing short of magical thanks to the incredible team at Instant Request DJ Entertainment! We worked with Mitch & Matt for planning, and we chose Auctavias to DJ - all of them were very helpful, proactive, flexible to our needs and helped make the night fun! We loved how much detail we were able to provide in the online planner; we were able to ensure that every aspect of the music and sound was tailored just for us. We asked a lot of questions before & after booking them and they were happy to talk all the details through with us. We honestly were pretty picky on the music we wanted to play, and Auctavias followed our requests while also reading the room and adjusting based on the vibe. He also coordinated our grand entrance, as well as the speeches, really well. We had a few special request songs that weren't on the Instant Request list that he was able to download, even one from Soundcloud. We got quite a few compliments that our music was great from a few different age groups, and I think that says a lot. Our dance floor was full for just about the whole night! Overall, our experience with Instant Request exceeded our expectations. I do not have enough words to explain how much you NEED to work with Instant Request We just had our wedding this past Sunday and it was amazing! The most important thing that we were looking for in a DJ was someone who would be comfortable mixing music for multiple cultures. My family is Ghanian so we wanted to make sure our dance floor had something for everybody. ALSO, they have karaoke which has always been something I've dreamed of having at my wedding! Very very disappointed. They came highly recommended and we were so excited and filled out the form once we sent in our deposit to get paired with a DJ - the minute we got on the phone with our paired DJ - he was unprepared, seemed to never even glance at the whole form we filmed out, pressured us multiple times to play certain songs that we didn’t want to play and put in the form we didn’t want as well as told him 5 times we didn’t want to. Wrote in the form and told him very clearly on the call that it’s a mother daughter dance and NOT a father daughter dance as my dad passed away and I didn’t want to have to talk about it or hear about it on my wedding day which I made clear. He told us to make playlists - one being an absolute must have songs playlist for the reception. He didn’t play half of them day of. He should up to our wedding in Athlesure cream sweatshirt t shirt with blue pants and a baseball hat when it was known it’s a semi formal cocktail all black wedding. He asked all the same questions day of that we discussed on pre call and wrote in form. Interrupted my groom and I talking to guest multiple times throughout the night to ask questions he knew the answer to and knew we had a day of coordinator to ask. Refused to put speakers in our cocktail hour area after saying he would so no one heard our announcement into cocktail or any of the music for the whole hour. We were so excited for that playlist as we crafted it for hours prior. Only pronounced our last name right once. Right before dances he came up and interrupted me as the bride talking to a guest to double check it was mother daughter and not father daughter after I told him clearly on the preplan call so that crushed me. When I went to request a “must have” song that we put on our list- he snapped at me the bride and said “I’m working on it! Someone already asked” and blew me off. We asked for one more song to which he told us we’d be fined by our venue and buses to which the day of coordinator and venue coordinator told me that wasn’t true at all. I called when we got back from our honeymoon to tell the company all of this, was met with only caring about auditing the must have playlist to verify that he did or didn’t play those songs while ignoring mostly everything else I said… still no resolve or follow up and we got married sept 14th. Highly would not recommend spending a lot of money for them for an important day in your life. My husband and I and our families are HUGE music people. This was such a massive thing for us on our wedding day and to have this experience is ridiculously disappointing More...

We had Sergio DJ for our wedding, and it could not have been any better. Sergio was not afraid to take the reins and keep the night alive. We gave him a custom playlist but let him put his own touch on it and it was amazing! No song felt out of place and each one felt even higher energy than the last. And the transitions between each song? Genius. He also was not afraid to sort of host the speeches and keep those moving along. Overall, it was just very professional and fun.
