The DJs are super personable, professional, and genuinely talented - a combination that’s not always easy to find. We had Eric through the black tie service and he blew us out of the park! He was incredibly professional and knew exactly what to do to make the entire wedding run smoothly! We attended a wedding where they hired a DJ through a company similar to Instant Request but they only played songs through SoundCloud and didn’t have so many classic songs available! The whole dance floor was empty. It really scared us and made us upgrade to the black tie service to ensure we could select our DJ. IT WAS THE BEST DECISION! Eric was PHENOMENAL! Our dance floor was completely packed for 6 hours straight! We had people dancing that I didn’t even think would dance. I would recommended him over and over again. He was so amazing to work him! We had the best experience working with Instant Request DJ! Matt was great at getting back to us and responding to any questions we had throughout the process. Jimmy was our DJ, and he absolutely killed it! When we had our call with him a few weeks prior, he really took the time to go through everything and make sure we were on the same page. He was also really good at responding to emails leading up to the big day.The day of the wedding, we decided somewhat last minute to have the ceremony outside, and he was so flexible and easily pivoted to set everything up outside. Our DJ Sergio was AMAZING! We received so many compliments on the music at our wedding. We met with Sergio over the phone a week or so before our wedding to chat about our music selection and he was incredibly kind, professional, and easy to talk to. He played all of our must-plays and none of our do-not-plays. He kept the crowd dancing all night. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ. Instant Request was great to communicate with. Instant Request is an easy 5 stars!! My husband and I got married a couple of weeks ago, and were SO lucky to have Jimmy as our DJ. From initial consult, to filling out the surveys, to our final call with Jimmy, the planning portion was so simple and made one step of wedding planning easy.Every part of the ceremony and reception was flawless, and we had no worries at all that this part of our wedding was taken care of by a total professional. My sister and her friends sang at the beginning of our ceremony, and this was coordinated perfectly. We had a group who loves to dance, and Jimmy kept the vibes up the entire night. We cannot recommend instant request DJ enough. Our original DJ had an accident right before the wedding and we ended up having DJ Tom. I’m not going to lie, I am an huge planner and was a little nervous, but Tom did AMAZING and it was everything we hoped it would be. Before the wedding, the online event planner was super easy to use and provided so much comfort knowing everything was uploaded. The day of the wedding was absolutely seamless, Tom was phenomenal, and he did everything we asked and more. He was amazing at reading the dance floor and keeping everybody engaged, as well as perfecting the timing of everything we did. We had a wonderful experience with Instant Request and especially DJ Sean! They were easy to work with leading up to the event, answering all our questions and having such a helpful event planner online. It made picking music and planning very easy.We were assigned DJ Sean and are so glad we were. Our venue had preferences with their sound system and he did a great job working with them and making it easy for us. He kept the dance floor bopping all night long, doing a great job mixing our must plays and our custom playlist in general with requests from guests. We used Instant Request DJ for our wedding and they assigned us DJ Seth B. Seth was friendly, professional, quick, flexible, helpful, & fun even joining us on the dance floor one time. He had enough equipment to quickly transition from the outside ceremony to the indoor reception in quick succession. He helped out by making several announcements to the room and had good clear sound.He was excellent at his job as well, blending songs seamlessly from one to the next. Sergio was beyond amazing! My wife and I are pretty indecisive, and we came in with a wide-open plan for how we wanted the ceremony and reception to go. Sergio took the reins and steered the day toward the best possible outcome, which let us relax and actually enjoy our wedding instead of stressing over every detail.He even played our 2-year-old son’s favorite songs and did a great job getting our guests up and dancing all night. We loved having Kalli K. DJ our outdoor wedding ceremony and the reception/dance inside the venue! She also responded promptly to our emails leading up to our wedding. Kalli was very organized and was able to make a last minute switch with the schedule in that very moment when things were running behind schedule(needed to switch the order of events). Everyone could hear everything outside (even with the waterfall in background) with the speaker(s) & mic during the outdoor ceremony and she provided the same at the reception inside. She stuck to the playlist we created and also read the room well- kept the dance floor busy the whole night! We had a great experience with Instant Request, and our DJ, Erin, was amazing! The planning process was so easy thanks to their online planning portal. It made it simple to choose our music, share our preferences, and organize all of the details ahead of time, so we felt confident everything would come together on the wedding day. 10 out of 10! DJ Sean hosted our daughter's wedding and he was fantastic. From the beginning, he completely supported their vision for the cocktail hour thru to the dance and he delivered. Overall, Instant Request was great to work with. Their team is responsive and their DJ planner is very useful. We had great communication with Mitch from the initial booking through our DJ assignment. The main reason for the 4/5 stars is because there were a couple of requests we made to our DJ Theo G. during our consultation call that did not end up happening. This mainly relates to our playlist -- we had put ~10-12 songs (out of around 65 total) that were specific requests from my dad (70's-80's rock), and I specifically mentioned during our consultation call (and in the notes section of my DJ planner) that I wanted at least a handful of those songs played towards the beginning of the reception for our parents/grandparents. Only one of those songs was played, which was quite disappointing to my dad. Additionally, we noticed a few repeats throughout the evening (Lover by Taylor Swift was played 3 times throughout dinner and the reception -- and while I love Taylor Swift, we would have preferred more variety, especially since we had several songs on our reception playlist that never got played).That being said, our DJ was very kind, attentive, and professional. We had an overall positive experience with the company, we just suggest making sure all expectations/requests are super clear, especially if you don't select the Black Tie service (in hindsight, we probably should have splurged on the Black Tie service!). Eva was so great! The dance floor was packed all night and when we needed her to say random stuff with no warning (like about a gluten free table or can certain family members come to the front for photos) she was on it!
