What’s your interior design process?
After identifying the client’s needs I outline a clear scope of work and a set of objectives. We then establish a budget for each item in the scope of services and determine the client’s design style preferences. I then go on to create floor plans to identify the sizes of the necessary pieces and how the space should be configured. Next I blend the space plan, design style, and budget to start selecting pieces and materials that satisfy all three requirements (plan, style and budget). I then present my proposed design to the client and incorporate any new ideas or local designs as appropriate, then I repeat the presentation and make revisions as needed. Once the final design is approved by the client, we procure the products the client wishes to purchase, oversee their installation, and finally trim out the space with artwork and accessories to complete the overall design.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I strive to fully understand my clients in order to cater to whatever styles most suit them as an individual by investigating their own conception of the past, present and future. This requires first understanding what preferences they might retain from their childhood or prior stages of their lives. Then I seek to understand what the architectural elements of their current space entail in terms of both limitations and opportunities. Finally, I dig into how the client envisions the future of their home – i.e. what they want their space to look like. I then blend all these elements together to craft out and reveal a very personal style that is unique to every client. We believe that determining a client’s style is a very specific process that must be understood with detail and intricacy before even beginning to design a space, thereby offering the necessary respect and due diligence to our clients’ individual personalities and homes.

I love transforming spaces in ways that change people's lives, and the way in which they enjoy their spaces with their family and loved ones.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my business 21 years ago to offer services centered on identifying my clients’ interior design needs and planning and strategizing for their installation.

Yes, we’ve been providing our services remotely since 2019. We've worked remotely on properties all the way from the Caribbean to California - coast-to-coast from California to Myrtle Beach. We’ve perfected our workflow for remote and online services since far before anyone else was doing so.
