What do you love most about your job?
Teaching. There is this really great moment in the teaching process, where you see the lightbulb click on and the student has figured something out on their own. It gives them confidence in studying and motivates them to strive for more.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have both tutored and been tutored in college, and I think it is a really useful tool for improving academic performance.
Why should our clients choose you?
I’m friendly and personable, a Navy veteran, and current aspiring Physics Teacher. I have a strong work ethic, and I am equally invested in my students success. I chose this career path because I want to make an impact in the education system we all know is not as strong as it should be. My knowledge in this fields is borderline excessive. I’ve taken more math classes than I need for a physics degree, and did well in all of them. I’ve been hired at the university of Washington in seattle to teach part of the first year physics series for scientists and engineers. This has exposed me to research based teaching techniques and questions that help guide the student to their own conclusions. I have neat handwriting and I always write every step so there is no question of what happened from one line of work to another.

Yes, I can do remote tutoring sessions via zoom. I am also willing to commute to you within a reasonable distance.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
In person sessions I will wear a mask. You are not required to. I received the first 2 doses of Moderna and 2 boosters from Pfizer and Moderna.
Math tutor
Problem based tutoring in maths from algebra through geometry, calculus, linear algebra, and more, including SAT prep. Hourly sessions where students bring specific questions and we go through them to ensure a better understanding.
Physics tutor
Tutoring in the concepts of Dynamics, Kinematics, electromagnetism, Galilean relativity, and more. Hourly sessions where the students bring questions they have and we go through them to ensure understanding.
Physics teaching
Long term service, multiple times per week. I develop a curriculum to go through and teach the concepts breaking them down in depth to make them understandable. This is a contract, not an hourly rate.
