About

Welcome, my name is Parker Condit and I'm the owner/operator of In Touch Health & Performance.

If you have concerns about getting older, then look no further. I work primarily with people 50+ who want to get back into the routine of working out, improve their overall health, lose weight, have more energy, and keep an eye on long-term risk (longevity planning).

Parker worked with me for about 6 months after I had ACL surgery and had used up all of my physical therapy sessions.
I didn’t feel confident doing it on my own and I was still in rough shape. At first I was worried about the cost, but I can’t imagine where I would be today, physically, without him and it was so worth it. I golf and play pickle ball a few days a week now and I feel so strong, I swear I’m moving better than I was in my 40’s. More...

5 Stars – A Life-Changing Experience for My Mom!

After my mom, Ellie, who is in her 70s, had a bad fall, we were all so worried about her recovery. She was shaken both physically and mentally, unsure if she'd ever regain her strength or confidence to move around freely again. That’s when we found Parker, and hiring him was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made for her.

From the very start, Parker approached my mom’s situation with such care and patience. He took the time to understand her fears and physical limitations and tailored a program that not only focused on rebuilding her strength but also on restoring her confidence. Parker’s kindness and encouragement have made such a difference.

Now, not only can she move about the house safely, but she’s also doing daily activities with more energy and ease than even before the fall! It’s like she’s been given a second wind, and seeing her regain her independence has been absolutely priceless.

If you’re looking for someone to help an older loved one regain their strength and confidence, I cannot recommend Parker enough. It’s one of the best investments we’ve made in my mom’s health and well-being. We’re beyond grateful for his support and expertise!

I am a 64 years old with diabetes and osteoarthritis and I've been working with Parker for the past 3 months. I'm amazed at how good I feel. He's been able to get me into a great exercise routine while being mindful of my limitations and I'm really shocked at how good the results have been.

I've had a lot of bad experiences with physical therapists and trainers trying to push me along too quickly, so naturally, I was hesitant when we first started. But Parker makes me feel so comfortable and confident in what I'm doing, that I really look forward to our training sessions.

My A1C has gone from 9.4% down to 7.9%, I'm able to walk everyday without pain, and I've lost a little over 10lbs even though that is not a main priority right now.

If you're older and have some limitations, you can't go wrong working with Parker.

Parker was a fantastic communicator which allowed for a very transparent and effective conversation. He provided a new perspective that was very encouraging for someone who has felt a bit discouraged in the past by different professionals. The communication method and overall atmosphere gave me the comfort and confidence to share my experiences and feel a sense of encouragement after a long time! I look forward to continuing to work together for many years to come! More...

Parker is one of the most knowledgeable trainers/individuals I’ve ever worked with or known. It’s obvious he has been working in the health care and wellness industry for many years. For myself I am a senior who has spent the majority of my adult life working out and attempting to keep abreast of all things health related. With a myriad of information in the past decades and especially recently with the onslaught of information online and via social media, it’s hard to decipher what is truly effective. Parker seems to understand that one’s health is individualized and has a sensible and insightful approach to guiding individuals on their healthcare journey. He is conversant about the many aspects of wellness and communicates information and suggestions in an easy going and approachable manner. At 66, I believe I am both physically and mentally stronger than I have been most of my life largely due to the guidance from Parker. I would highly recommend “In Touch Health & Performance” if you want to finally get pointed in the right direction. More...

Parker has completely transformed my relationship with my health. Over the past 2 years, he has expanded my knowledge about the science of wellness (physically, mentally, and emotionally) and taught me how to implement this knowledge day to day. He is incredibly patient and has taught me how to build muscle and achieve a healthy weight, while encouraging me to not fall into unhealthy or obsessive practices. A big thank you to Parker for everything, it has truly been a pleasure working with you. More...

Q&As

Exercise and fitness are the foundation of what will drive the results you're looking for, but as a health coach I also make sure to touch on a variety of other factors in your life to ensure we give you the best chance possible to reach your goals. These can include sleep habits, nutrition, daily activity levels, how well you manage stress, the strength of your social connections and support network, among many other factors.

Good genetics, unfortunately.

One of my main jobs as a coach is to help manage expectations of my clients and sometimes that includes delivering blunt truths. This is not to say that you can't improve and make changes to your body because this happens all the time. However, the research shows that anywhere from 40-70% of your body composition is due to genetic factors.

Outside of that however, there are certain exercise physiology protocols that can be implemented based on your specific goals. The other primary factor is making sure you are consuming enough protein because that is a huge driver for changing body composition. A good minimum for a given day is consuming 1.2g of protein per Kilogram of body weight.

For example, I weigh 185 lbs (divide by 2.2 to go from Lbs to Kg) = 84 kg. So 1.2 x 84Kg = 101 grams of protein per day is approximately my minimum. There is even research to show that increasing your protein intake (without exercise) can help you put on muscle mass and improve your body composition.

I have an entrepreneurial spirit and I've always been drawn to helping people so this job is a very natural fit and that will come across if and when we meet. I love being able to bring together and organize multiple parts of a person's life to help them start living a healthier and more fulfilling life.

I've owned multiple businesses throughout my career and have also been employed a few times. While there are benefits and drawbacks to both, I've always loved the freedom and flexibility to create the business structure and offering that is ideally suited to my clients needs. As a business owners, I love having the freedom to do additional testing or provide an extra service with a client that needs it if I know it will help push them past a barrier or make a big step forward.

I have a skillset that extends beyond personal training which includes being a certified nutritionist, a health coach, and a breathwork practitioner. This gives me many tools to utilize to help you reach your goals.

I also spent 5 years as CEO of a healthcare technology company focused on patient engagement so I'm very familiar with where the gaps are in our healthcare system and how to avoid them.

I provide personal training services in person and online. Health coaching is done remotely.

This online training can be done in one of two ways. Virtual training is done live over Zoom or Google Meet where I coach and train you in the same way that I would doing an in-person session. An online program is the other options where we do a video consultation to learn more about your goals and then I would create an program for you to complete via an App where I can follow along with your progress.

The gym is routinely sanitized and it is a private gym which means it is only myself and a few other trainers who work out of this space. There is rarely more than 6 people total in this gym.
