I've been here a couple times because they have a full bar and vegan options! The vegan biscuits and gravy are hearty and great. They're the kind of stick to your ribs food you need when you're having a couple cocktails or beers for a weekend brunch. Or, bottomless mimosas which is another option. There are other vegan brunch options which is fantastic since breakfast/brunch seems to be hardest meal to find vegan options for. Plenty of signature cocktails, beers, and full bar so you can have what you please to drink. Be prepared that it's located on a busier stretch of Ventura so parking is at a premium. If you’re seeing a show at the Lyric Hyperion a few blocks down the road, this is the perfect place to grab a bite! They have lots of delicious appetizers (sweet potato tots) as well as two vegan sandwiches (my burger was awesome). We had two burgers, 1 appetizer and 1 drink for about $65 including tip and tax.Our server was really attentive and sweet! In the words of my date "Not amazeballs but good". Our appetizers were Candied Bacon and the Brisket Potato Skins. Both really good! The skins especially. For a main course I had the Rueben sandwich which was my first ever so I have nothing to compare it too. It was salty but I'm not sure if that's how a Ruben is suppose to be but it's a stack of Pastrami so I imagine it is that way naturally. My date had Wasabi Egg Salad Sandwich. The wasabi flavor wasn't strong and the eggs a bit watery, still very tasty. Having it on chibata bread was perfect! We didn't have the bottomless mimosas, but for $18, this will be added to my brunch spots too return too on Sundays. We wanted desert but left no space. I really like this place. In the afternoon, the side with the tables and chairs is open and serving along with the outside seating area. In the evening, the bar area and the outside seating are both open. They have booths, bar seating and tables and chairs. There are TV's on the walls with sports games playing. It is a very comfortable bar atmosphere, we were 2 females in a booth sharing appetizers and having margaritas. Never felt rushed, never was bothered and the staff is very nice, the bartenders were very good, drinks were well made and the food was good.
