Honor My Paws is where you can build a unique relationship that will help your dog make good choices. The human brain learns best when it is enjoying, or having fun, learning. Dogs are no different. We will show you how to work with your dog to help them make the right decisions at the right time in any environment, not to mention the fun you will have instead of just a regimented approach to training your dog.

We were recommended to Guy and Honor My Paws by a coworker. We had an issue where two of our dogs started fighting to the point that we thought we were going to have to re-home one of them.
We met with two other trainers before Guy. They both wanted to use shock collars and do the board and train thing for at least 4 weeks for thousands of dollars. Along with not giving us much hope.... Our house was like walking on egg shells. Until we talked to Guy on the phone.
He immediately knew what to do and talked to us for 40 minutes before the first meeting about what to do. It felt like the world was lifted off our shoulders. From the moment Guy walked into our house and started working with our two dogs everything changed. We now have two dogs that are back to cuddling and playing together. Along with being able to walk on a leash and not react to things or people. They are still learning and we look forward to every lesson from Guy. I recommend him to everyone no matter the dogs age. You will be impressed right away with how much he can help you.

Guy was so calm and patient with our very anxious girl. The way that he showed us to interact with her has given her the tools to regulate her own stress and be so much happier all the time! We cannot thank him enough.

Dog Training
Absolutely wonderful! He helped us understand our pup better and got her to trust us a little bit more. He didn’t stereotype her as an “aggressive breed” like most other people do, but worked with her to help her nervousness and taught her how to regulate her uncertainty. 10/10

I am so glad I was researching a dog trainer and found Guy. Blessed that he is doing wonders with my Golden Retriever puppy Finley, and his patience and calmness also remind me to take a step back and remain calm. He truly takes the time to understand your dog and do the training accordingly. Looking forward to seeing Finley grow and become the BEST dog he can be. THE SKY’S THE LIMIT with Guy in your corner. I used to feel like I couldn’t leave my house without taking my morkie with me. She would bark incessantly if left alone. After working with Guy I can now leave her alone for extended periods of time without concern, and he helped her by playing games with her ! She has also become more confident in public and is no longer easily frightened. I would highly recommend Guy’s dog training services to anyone!!! You will not be disappointed. More...

Guy is fantastic !!!! My dog suffers from extreme anxiety and I never knew this was something that could really be helped. But with Guy’s training, my dog has shown major improvement. Guy has helped him to grow in confidence, so he isn’t as scary or anxious. Not to mention, Guy is so nice and great with all animals!! He has a wonderful heart to help others! Our family is so grateful for him!! More...

We have really appreciated Guy’s work with our dog Winnie. Guy is kind, gentle, and loving in dealing with animals, and it is evident as soon as he enters the door.
Our dog, Winnie, loves him! We like the fact that Guy has had a lot of experience training dogs. We are also very much in favor of his approach in training, establishing trust with the dog, never, ever harsh or overpowering.
We appreciate the fact that he is easy to get in touch with if you have questions or problems, and always responds patiently and thoughtfully. He also provides a written summary of each training session.
We highly recommend Guy as a trainer for dogs! We’ve seen great results!

What do you love most about your job?
I love interacting with people, and helping them build a new relationship with their dog no matter the age, size, temperament, or label the dog may have. I love watching a dog go from having "no hope," to having nothing but possibilities in their owners eyes.
What inspired you to start your own business?
When I volunteer in dog shelters, I see so many dogs that have been abandoned. One of the goals of Honor My Paws is to keep those dogs in their respective homes by helping and sharing with owners how to make them a meaningful part of the household.
Why should our clients choose you?
You will get unique training at an affordable price.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes. I use zoom for remote training, and I have demo dogs I use to demonstrate methodology for my clients.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am a fully vaccinated dog training who adheres to the current CDC guidelines.
