Jenny was a dream! We are first time dog owners and were slightly skeptical about the online training but we would do it again and again with Jenny. She really made it for us. She was so enthusiastic and really flexible. Our puppy excelled very quickly at certain exercises and rather then ending the session early since we “finished” our goals for the session, she made things harder for him and came up with exercises and games on the fly! LAY LO Homeschool was a great experience. We started working with LAY LO with our 10 week old puppy, and got custom training, tips, and tricks weekly! Our trainer Katie was very attentive to our pups needs, and always presented multiple ways to solve a problem or to work through a new trick or behavioral issue. Katie was able to pivot our training to fit our needs as our pup grew up, and it was super helpful having her available through text weekly when bumps in the road or questions came up. It was also great to celebrate our weekly successes with her too!

Jeny was an excellent instructor! She was patient with both me and my puppy. Most importantly, she taught me how to train my pup, giving me great direction and suggestions! If things were not working, she would offer alternatives until we found the right solution. Lay Lo was super communicative and made it very easy to follow along with the training plan-- Emily our trainer was so nice and helpful throughout all the sessions.

I was assigned to Jeny Paik as our dog trainer, she was wonderful to work with.
My dog Cooper would bolt out the door the minute it was opened. She was able to help me teach Coop how to sit on his place cot and he would not leave unless told to do so. She did a great job and I was grateful for her help.
I also had an issue with my dog peeing in and pooping in our home. This was something new he had started. They suggested I take him to his vet and make sure he didn't have a UTI. Yep he had a UTI which caused him to start peeing in the house. They also suggested we put him back into his crate at night and see if that helps. He didn't like that since he hadn't been in a crate in 3 years. We just kept our gate closed that goes into our bedroom (he sleeps with us) and that stopped him from peeing in the house. Overall they solved all our problems.
I have told anyone that I run into that is getting a puppy or has issues with their dog to try Homeschool. I highly recommend them to anyone. More...

I absolutely loved working with Homeschool. I found a 1 year old Chihuahua tied to a gate while I was at work. I immediately contacted the shelter and adopted her shortly after. She had been mistreated and had severe anxiety. I wasn’t sure how to help Rosey and I read about Homeschool with Lay-Lo. I paired up with Tracy and Nicole and little by little, with a lot of mission assignments, Rosey has made big improvements. She still has to work through some things but now I understand Rosey and why she does what she does. I never realized that dogs could suffer so much from anxiety. Homeschool has given me the tools I need to help Rosey with her anxiety. I will never be able to thank these ladies enough. I’m so glad I found Homeschool!!!

This was my first experience with a pet in many years and the dog I adopted had severe separation anxiety!
Emily and the whole team sat Laylopet assured me that with time and training she could become the precious companion I had hoped for. The transformation has been miraculous!! She still loves being with me, but has become calm now for increasing lengths of time when left alone at home. No more panicked pup!
I appreciate so much the patience that Emily had with me and the expertise that she used with us to increase Gigi’s confidence in my return and calmness in my absence. She encouraged me to add more socialization for her and that has been great for both of us!!

We have a completely transformed dog! Our sweet boy is sweet to his family but is a loyal and protective German Shepard to anyone else and had become aggressive. After a scary episode, we signed up. Emily is great- she made everything simple to understand and worked at his pace and to his abilities. While he will never love strangers or company, he has learned to just come find mom, which is his safe place. We were able to witness with hands-on, real life scenarios that he is not mean or aggressive, he is just scared. He and I can now live our lives, being careful and aware while protecting each other! My fiancé and I were blessed with our rescue dog earlier this year, after finding him under our car in the intense summer heat, alone and malnourished. Homeschooling with Lay Lo was beyond my expectations. Initially, I was concerned about remote training, but it became apparent even during the first session just how beneficial and effective it was going to be. I was skeptical doing virtual training, but it actually worked. I have 4 german shepherds. Emily and I worked on my most difficult one. She's a little over a year head strong and so much energy.
Emily came thru with different training techniques. When she suggested one I didn't think would work she had another back up plan right away. My girl keeps progressing everyday. All training techniques Emily gave I can use on my other 3. Emily did a great job teaching me to. Can't thank her enough.

I am glad we chose Homeschool to help us with our new rescue. I was somewhat skeptical about doing this all remotely, but it really allowed our dog to focus on the commands we were trying to teach it. Such a great service.

We rescued a senior dog and needed help with her reactivity toward other dogs. As a family of four, bringing a new puppy into the mix was a bit of a daunting undertaking. Lay Lo's convenience of training via zoom is what made me choose them. Besides it made sense that us pet owners should be the ones interacting with our dog directly during training. What an amazing experience!

Our trainer Emily was incredible! Her attention to detail was second to none. At first I didn't know what to expect training 2 dogs virtually, but Emily made things fun and easy to follow. I am especially thankful for the games she taught us to help with leash reactivity.

Emily is my miracle! I’ve worked with other trainers before, and she is by far the best one I’ve ever dealt with. She was so easy to talk to, understanding, and always available when I needed her. I want to give a shout out to Nicole. She was my person between training sessions. She always knew how to leave me where I needed to go or give me a different look at things through my eyes to help Sparky I think her for for all her help, I think this school is fantastic and it’s seen my dogs life.

We had Emily and what a great trainer she is. She helped me learn how to take my dog from a triggering situation where he barked and lunged and had major meltdowns with people and animals to a dog who now will look at me for commands and is able to let people cross in front of us. Other animals were still working on, but he is doing much better with he’s a calmer dog. I’m a calmer owner and, so grateful to the school and Emily for all her health.
