From the very first session we were off and running. We together taught my dogs all the things I was concerned about in less time than I thought we could. Teaching me to teach them correctly and understanding them on a deeper level gave me the tools I needed to be successful. I am so proud of them and how much they accomplished in just a short time. I think one of the biggest advantages is having 2 trainers, 1 for the lesson and 1 for the follow up each trainer had different suggestions, and it really helped me with technique. I am very pleased and would not hesitate to reach out again if need be. Moving from the mountains to the city was difficult for my fur kids at first. It was very easy to do Home School Training for my dog via the web. I learned a lot, got instant feedback & could check in during the week if I had issues or questions. In 6 weeks, I saw noticeable positive behavioral changes in my husky mix. Having 2 different trainers gave me so many skills to apply and they worked so well on my 2 fur kids. I was skeptical of completing all the new rules and lessons we had to learn moving from a mountain community to a busy noisy new home but we did it! They do not charge the door when the door bell rings, we took the meaning out of the car ride so they stay calm so I can manage them and so much more. I absolutely enjoyed working with you and will not hesitate to call if I need further instruction. I trained with Karen for 6 weeks with my highly anxious and reactive chihuahua mix. While she didn't have a magic wand, our time together was the next best thing! Marty has grown so much and I am so grateful for everything we have learned! I also genuinely appreciate that we only used positive reinforcement and when Marty needed a break, we were able to do that! I would recommend this training program to anyone, but especially for anxious dogs. Marty would not have made as much progress if we had to meet someone in person (or even if they came to our house) or if it wasn't as customized/unique to Marty. Homeschool by Lay Lo helped me and pup who turned out to have confinement distress. She is now able to be left home alone with no issues. Through 1:1 video format on walks, we found out she is a reactive dog. Walks have become more pleasant for both myself and pup with the application of tools we were taught. Jenny was a dream! We are first time dog owners and were slightly skeptical about the online training but we would do it again and again with Jenny. She really made it for us. She was so enthusiastic and really flexible. Our puppy excelled very quickly at certain exercises and rather then ending the session early since we “finished” our goals for the session, she made things harder for him and came up with exercises and games on the fly! LAY LO Homeschool was a great experience. We started working with LAY LO with our 10 week old puppy, and got custom training, tips, and tricks weekly! Our trainer Katie was very attentive to our pups needs, and always presented multiple ways to solve a problem or to work through a new trick or behavioral issue. Katie was able to pivot our training to fit our needs as our pup grew up, and it was super helpful having her available through text weekly when bumps in the road or questions came up. It was also great to celebrate our weekly successes with her too!

Jeny was an excellent instructor! She was patient with both me and my puppy. Most importantly, she taught me how to train my pup, giving me great direction and suggestions! Lay Lo was super communicative and made it very easy to follow along with the training plan-- Emily our trainer was so nice and helpful throughout all the sessions.

I was assigned to Jeny Paik as our dog trainer, she was wonderful to work with.
My dog Cooper would bolt out the door the minute it was opened. She was able to help me teach Coop how to sit on his place cot and he would not leave unless told to do so. She did a great job and I was grateful for her help.
I also had an issue with my dog peeing in and pooping in our home. This was something new he had started. They suggested I take him to his vet and make sure he didn't have a UTI. Yep he had a UTI which caused him to start peeing in the house. They also suggested we put him back into his crate at night and see if that helps. He didn't like that since he hadn't been in a crate in 3 years. We just kept our gate closed that goes into our bedroom (he sleeps with us) and that stopped him from peeing in the house. Overall they solved all our problems.
I have told anyone that I run into that is getting a puppy or has issues with their dog to try Homeschool. I highly recommend them to anyone. More...

I absolutely loved working with Homeschool. I found a 1 year old Chihuahua tied to a gate while I was at work. I immediately contacted the shelter and adopted her shortly after. She had been mistreated and had severe anxiety. I wasn’t sure how to help Rosey and I read about Homeschool with Lay-Lo. I paired up with Tracy and Nicole and little by little, with a lot of mission assignments, Rosey has made big improvements. She still has to work through some things but now I understand Rosey and why she does what she does. I never realized that dogs could suffer so much from anxiety. Homeschool has given me the tools I need to help Rosey with her anxiety. I will never be able to thank these ladies enough. I’m so glad I found Homeschool!!!

This was my first experience with a pet in many years and the dog I adopted had severe separation anxiety!
Emily and the whole team sat Laylopet assured me that with time and training she could become the precious companion I had hoped for. The transformation has been miraculous!! She still loves being with me, but has become calm now for increasing lengths of time when left alone at home. No more panicked pup!
I appreciate so much the patience that Emily had with me and the expertise that she used with us to increase Gigi’s confidence in my return and calmness in my absence. She encouraged me to add more socialization for her and that has been great for both of us!!

We have a completely transformed dog! Our sweet boy is sweet to his family but is a loyal and protective German Shepard to anyone else and had become aggressive. After a scary episode, we signed up. Emily is great- she made everything simple to understand and worked at his pace and to his abilities. While he will never love strangers or company, he has learned to just come find mom, which is his safe place. We were able to witness with hands-on, real life scenarios that he is not mean or aggressive, he is just scared. He and I can now live our lives, being careful and aware while protecting each other!
