If you are on the fence at all about whether or not to get a pond or whether or not to hire this company to do the work, put aside all of your fears. My waterfall/pond exceeded all my expectations. I looked through hundreds of pictures on the internet and in magazines and I tried to convey what I wanted to Dennis but what he delivered was far more beautiful than anything I had seen in pictures. It is truly stunning! He worked with my budget and answered every question I could possibly have about my new pond. I first met Dennis recently after finding his company on Yelp. I was inspired by seeing photos of his work and could see he has natural eye for creating beautiful custom waterfalls and ponds. The previous contractor I used turned out to be very inexperienced to say the least.I also talked to other locally known pond guys but just didn't feel the connection.Dennis called me right back and setup a design consultation.He answered all my questions, he gave me the better best scenarios, he took the time to make a drawing that was quite good explaining how he planned on building this pond He listed equipment as well as many design aspects that I was unaware of.He needed to import 8 tons of natural stone river rock. He installed aquatic plants and led lights to finish off the pond. They came in worked efficiently and in a matter of four days his vision came to life. I was lucky to be off work and watched these masters create beauty and tranquility out of nothing. Dennis went the extra mile and installed a third layer of protection underneath the liner and geo textile fabric by installing 1/2 inch galvanized chicken wire. The excavation was 36 inch depth with a fish cave, marginal plant shelf and a special shelf for our lotus plant.My wife and I are extremely happy with the out come! We are very impressed with the quality of workmanship as well as the quality Aquascape Designs signature series filtration equipment.5 stars all the way! We are thankful for his friendly professional and passionate work. His team was very good as well. OMG!!!!  Pond Pros over exceeded my expectations.  After meeting with a couple of Pond people, Dennis was the most reasonable and I knew he would do a great job. He was open and always in contact with me.  His work crew did everything possible to meet my needs.  After he was finished, I am simply amazed to how beautiful my pond is.  Also, I referred him to my sister and her pond turned out gorgeous.  Now, I am going to have him redo my Dad's ponds.  I can't wait to see them completed.  The following pictures show the before picture to the finish product.  The pictures don't really do justice as in real person the pond is breath takingThank you Pond Pros!!! I called the Pond Pros of Southern California out on an emergency when my fish started unexpectedly dying. Dennis came out after hours to assess the situation. Then he was able to stabilize the pond and save my fish. Dennis is very knowledgeable and informative.After further evaluation he determined that my pond was too overgrown with plants and I had too many fish. Along with inadequate filtration. Dennis recommended some upgrades to the filter, did a pond clean out and thinned the plants back. I'm happy to report the pond looks great! I called Dennis at Pond Pros because my existing pond developed a leak. Dennis returned my call immediately and was able to come out and take a look within 48hrs. I was convinced I had a liner leak but when Dennis looked at my system he identified leaks at the intake and waterfall almost immediately and stated that he thought it was really unlikely I had a liner leak based on what he could see. He could of made a bundle of money by just agreeing to replace the liner but instead gave my a very honest professional assessment even though doing so reduced his profit. Dennis and The Pond Pros of Southern California build my pond over 15 years ago. It has been a beautiful addition over the years to our home, relaxing on the patio is a highlight each day. The pond is always changing and has been home to koi, bullfrogs, turtles, dragonflies, birds, bluegill, hummingbirds, plants, and other critters. Dennis and his crew have done pond cleanouts over the years and in the last few weeks upgraded the waterfall and strainer which turned out to be a stunning improvement. I called Dennis at the Pond Pros to inquire about cleaning my small backyard pond and waterfall.  It had never been thoroughly cleaned in the ten years that I've had it.  In the past, I have borrowed my neighbor's pond vac and spent several hours trying to vacuum it out a couple of times. What a long, tedious process that is for minimal results!So they came and cleaned everything up, took out the water, put my two goldfish in a holding tank while the entire pond was cleaned out.  Yuk! All of my reservations about spending a few dollars to get it cleaned up disappeared when I saw what was on the bottom of the empty pond.  Domingo, Dennis' employee, did a wonderful job, pressure washing the rock, removing the overgrown vines from the block wall and skillfully trimming up the little trees and plants that surround the pond and waterfall.  I am totally pleased with the job they did and would recommend them to any of my friends without reservation.  My pond looks better than when it was put in!!Thanks Pond Pros! Dennis to the rescue! So we moved into a new house. Backyard has a beaten up concrete pond that the inspector couldn't check since it didn't have any running water in it. We accepted it on faith. When we moved in, we hired a "pond" guy through some friends to bring it back to life. Pump was dead, pond had huge cracks - needed some serious work. We paid for a new pump, refinishing/sealing the huge cracks, and putting it back on line. $1,500 & a week later, we learned the the pond was still leaking (bad plumbing under the concrete!) no matter what we did. So we stopped original path of work (band aid approach) and reached out to Dennis, with the Pond Pros. He came out very promptly, took his time to inspect, and provided me with the possible scenarios. He told it like it is. He advised what we should/shouldn't do (no more band aids) and promised that if we went with his approach, we'd have a beautiful pond that would last for many years to come. So we decided to bite the bullet and go with the "do it right" approach. And, Dennis delivered EXACTLY THAT. The pond, which takes up less than 5% of the backyard is by far most beautiful part of the backyard now. What a change. THANK YOU DENNIS for your (and your crew's) amazing work and insight. My existing pond was leaking and in bad shape. I googled pond service and called several companies. Dennis, owner of Pond Pros, returned my call and immediately assured me that he could fix the problem. Dennis and his crew completely fixed, restored and rebuilt my entire pond. The results were far better than I ever expected! While my 13 koi fish were being temporary housed in a holding pin in my garage, Dennis displayed continuous concern to their well bring and survival during the remodel process. Dennis helped us correct problems with our pond and stream that another builder had created.  The pond and stream are now exactly (maybe even better than) what we had wanted from the beginning.  He continues to advise us on maintenance questions so that we have a beautiful environment all year long.  We found Dennis super easy to work with and recommend him highly.  Don't make the mistake we did; start out with a well designed and constructed water feature and avoid do-overs!
