I don't post much. But the service today was phenomenal. Jose served my family of 14 people with style and grace. Made sure everyone was pleased and hooked up the family with ice cream for my nieces bday.

I came in to eat lunch with my boyfriend the other day and we had Katie as our server and she was so sweet! We have never been to this restaurant but we will definitely be coming back! Anytime I want to catch a game or enjoy a WIDE selection of craft beers I can always rely on high park to have just that for me ! I've been here many times and always get good service. The wait staff are excellent and there are so many TVs that you never miss the sporting event that you want to watch.  As a vegetarian, this is one of the few restaurants that has the Impossible Burger, which is prepared to perfection every time.  The garlic ties are also very good! High park tap house is right down the street from my house and it is a nice night out if your going to hang out with friends and watch whatever sporting event is on. Update: August 18, 2019 I have been in contact via private message with owner, Valorie G. She mentioned that they do have compostable plastic straws available and that she will make sure the staff will know to offer that as an option to customers unwilling to use paper straws. This might be our new monthly goto for Friday night hangouts. Pretty good pizza and customizable calzones - yum. Burgers aren't bad. We love getting the fresh hot pretzels as an appetizer. Great draft beer selection but it does change, so what you loved one time may not be available the next. Keeps it interesting though. I visited Highpark when it was Oggi's and had a good experience.  I have since been to Highpark several times and can say my experiences were all great and the food and quality get better and better.  John Greene and his wife have really put their personal touches on the restaurant and now it feels more like a family owned restaurant versus a chain.  I recommended Highpark to Staples Execs for a meeting, they had a blast and were very impressed with the quality of food and service.Don't hesitate to try Highpark Taphouse!  Just got back from lunch at Highpark.  Stephanie, our waitress, was awesome and made the whole experience fantastic.  The blackened fish tacos, flat bread pizza, and nachos were all delicious and of course a great selection of beers on tap! . This is a good place to come when in the area or playing at the park.  They have a really nice outside patio area overlooking the adjacent park.  There was about 30+ taps from what I could see and also a cooler with a good variety of beers to choose from so nobody could possibly feel left out.  Their food is pretty good, I just had a couple apps (curds and garlic knots) but they were good and i could see a few other items on the menu I wanted to try when in the area again.  Staff at the bar were friendly and attentive.  Inside it's darker so I'm sure it's even nicer on a hot summer day.  There is not alot of brew pub options in the area, good thing they do a good job here. 5/25This is honestly one of the best restaurants my wife and I have ever been too! The food was amazing the drinks were perfect and the customer service second to none! Came in for an early Friday dinner. There was plenty of seating and parking wasn't a problem. We asked if we could sit outside and we were told no, as there was a big party coming. A little disappointing but okay. I had the loco moco, something I havent seen on a menu since I went to Hawaii! Super exciting. I was not expecting it to be as good as Hawaii, but it was pretty good. Initially, I thought they had doused it in way too much sauce. But it was the perfect amount of sauce, as the patty was a little dry and had a very strong "patty" flavor. My bf had the pastrami pizza which he said was also good. For dessert, I ordered the brownie & ice cream. I was disappointed that the brownie was not warm at all. It was room temperature, edging on cold because the ice cream was on top of it. I thought it was supposed to come with berries as well? But I did not re-check the menu. Overall, service was good, there were plenty of TV viewing options, and the food was decent. Wouldn't go out of my way to go back, but if I was in the area again, it would be considered. 4 stars because the dessert was disappointing and the patty flavor in my entree was a little overwhelming. My husband and kids come in here quite often on the weekends and are never disappointed with how delicious the food is and what a perfect atmosphere it is for everyone. Tv's perfect for me and my husband to watch the games and a small game room to keep our kids entertained! We came in on Cinco De Mayo our server Jessica was excellent! She was extremely attentive to us while managing what looked like tables all over the restaurant! Our drinks were always topped off and she even asked permission on refills for the kids which I loved. When it came to desserts we never get one but she recommended the lava cake so we ordered one and it was so good we ordered a second!
